Gabriella's POV

Vincent, had invited me to have lunch with him but for some reason, he chose the worst place, the place that I've been heavily ignoring. The cafeteria. I don't like going there much anymore, I usually just grab my lunch then go eat it somewhere else. This is all because of the events that happened that one time, that one small time that I went there with Luciano. But of course, I said yes because well we all have to face our fears sometimes right? Yeah and now sadly it is my own time to go and face my fears.

I spotted Vincent sitting by himself on a table, when he saw me, a smile appeared on his face and he waved me over.

"I saved us the whole table so that nobody could bother us." I cleared my throat.

"Wow is that so Vincent? Thanks, that's so thoughtful that you didn't want us to be distracted. I appreciate that a lot." Ok so I didn't exactly know what I was doing but the idea is for him to get bored of me so that he'll leave me alone and I'll then be free from him flying around my heart.

"Your welcome? Look I know that I said that we were gonna stay here but I have a surprise for yo-" Just before he could finish his sentence, someone stopped him.

"Oh Vincent sorry to ruin your little surprise but I've gotta take the lady for a bit." I turned around to look at the familiar voice. Luciano.Of course.

"It's nice seeing you too brother."

"Now I would say that to you but it's never a pleasure. Gabriella come on."

"Who says that she even wants to go with you?"

"Ok then, Gabriella can I please talk to you for a bit?"

"Um sure...but not for too long." I did not want to get in between them any more. Before Luciano could drag me away to the side I mouthed a little 'sorry' to Vincent.

"Why are you all of a sudden hanging out with my brother?"

"Oh...he's your brother? Whattt I would have totally never guessed that!"

"Cut the act. I know you know he's my brother and I don't want you hanging out with him."

"Ok fine I know he's your brother but I don't need you telling me what I can and can't do, it's almost as if, you're jealous?"

"Jealous of what? Him? Please, I am trying to save you, before something bad happens, don't be a fool ok?"

"Don't be a fool? Maybe I was a fool hanging out with you out of all people.  Look I've gotta go, if this is all you wanted to say then I really don't wanna listen."

"Fine but don't come crawling back to me with tears when he shows you his true self." He pushed me aside and left. Ok wow, I wasn't really expecting that but you know what, that gives me even more reason to hang out with  his brother which I did. I went back and sat down with Vincent.

"How did that go?" He asked.

"Not good but it doesn't matter. What were you talking about?"

"Oh right, the library's selling some art. Do you wanna I don't know maybe go together?"

"Of course I would!! Thank you for telling me, you're seriously the best." A smile landed on his face.

"It kinda benefits me too because I need to grab some new books. So let's go."
