My Intergalactic Soulmate

[WARNING: Violence and gore] “Did I just kill her?” Alexis was lying on the ground with wounds and bruises all over her. And to add to that she appeared to be lifeless. But slowly a soft crackling sound was heard. Alexis’s body was glowing in azure color. It seemed as if she was on fire. “No, no, no… you can’t disappear. Please don’t disappear.” But rather than disappearing, Alexis was now levitating in the air. Her whole body was lit in the azure fire. Her emerald eyes were now glowing like green balls of fire. Her dark ginger hair was floating aggressively behind her. She looked fearsome and at the same time also looked captivating. The fire around her was starting to engulf her. And after a while, an energy blast left her body. The blast was so powerful that the wall and structures around her were turned to mist. [Volume 1 revolves around light romance while Volume 2 revolves around intergalactic war. Desperate Attempts

"Captain the shield efficiency has dropped to 49 percent." The pilot of the Voyagers that got hit several times shouted in concern.

"Then it is not safe to stay amidst this shootout." The Captain of that ship, Captain Iroston, then made a ship wide announcement to all the soldiers on-board, "All pilots of the fighter craft, you all are going to fly out of the Voyager in a minute and half. Be ready and wait for my orders."

The pilots began to mentally prepare to go outside the mother-ship. Some were taking deep breaths in to calm down their nerves, while some were rechecking if everything of the craft were in order.

Then the Captain ordered the pilot, "Ms Windslayer, as soon as all of the fighter crafts fly out of the ship, take us to an open space where we can land. And make sure the place is a little far away from here so that our ship won't get damaged in the crossfire. I would love to return back home."
