Chapter Forty Five. *

The next two days were both so busy helping our new residents, training, building and planning our trip to the city not mention my wedding it was overwhelming.

Our house finished on the second week of September but, I wanted to wait until we get to Malai and buy everything. I needed before finally moving in with our daughter.

There was a brand new entertainment system in place now thank to his trick of disappearing with me during the party also...

I kind of meant what, I said and Zephyr compiled.

He carried me around the village using his ability which was infinite fun. Drawing the envy of all around me and the loud requests from his family for a ride.

On our third day home, peoples houses started to get their foundation finished the houses needed a lot of wood, our forests sure suffered for them.

Zephyr helped where he could.

The Emils house had already made some progress with its framework already in place. Everyone was looking just as busy as us.

So we took the first chance for spending time together.

We were down by the Sen having a large family picnic with all those who just happened to be there the number was in the 40s.

I saw my Zephyr vanishing around with the loud and excited screaming Ilianna back and forth the field skipping the river.

" Whoooeee!! Ahhhhahaha !!! " - she screamed everytime they arrived only take a deep breath and do it all over again.

" By Ehlite that looks fun. "

I overheard some nearby wishing to be in the place of my daughter and having a Blessed to be your personal transportation.

" I can understand their feelings it does look crazy fun. " - Demelza agreed with the others and sat up from the blanket we been using.

I smiled at Demelza statement. This was nothing really. I remembered back..

Yesterday at sunsets, I asked him for a birds eye view.

He made me wear warm clothes and even made sure my mouth was covered.

He picked me with sure hands and I held on tight. I had excitement in my heart but no fear. He would never agree if wasn't 1000% sure of his ability.

" Take a deep breath, close your eyes and open them when you feel..well the cold. " - his words were confidant as he explained the rules of being a bird. " And don't worry, no matter what happens you're are safe."

" I know my love. I'm burning up so.. " - I felt sweaty in the last of the leftover summer heat. ".. turn us into birds already."

He smiled and I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

It happened in an instant.

I felt incredibly pressure and cold hitting my forehead and eyes. I opened them slowly and with some difficulty and for a second my soul left me.

It was an unbelievable sight.

The sheer magnitude of the beauty down below us. An endless blue water surrounded a massive landmass we called Longinus. Snow covered mountain tops, green valley large enough for fit several cities. I giant blue eye, surrounded by an enormous city. The capital.

I couldn't admire it long, because we started falling.

He told all about this and how to handle it. I pressed my mouth and eyes close and held him even tighter.

It took less than a second before all that cold and pressure was gone and I felt a little thud and my body shook as we landed safely on the ground.

I opened my eyes and felt my eyelashes and forehead thawed from the sudden change in temperature.

" So..how was it? " - he was out of breath a little himself and beads of sweat rolled down his neck but, smiled in anticipation.

" Amazing!!..but, why couldn't fly a little? "

He rolled his eyes and put down. " We would've started violently spinning like the first time when I found myself up there. I didn't want risk it with you."

That made sense.

I looked up at the clouds and just couldn't believe, I was there for a few second. This.. all of this, it was like a freaking dream. I laughed like a maniac for while, looking forward to future flights.

" Don't tell anyone..." - he pulled from behind and asked for the near impossible. " I dont want Anna to found out about this. She's too young."

" My love...you know..we can just say no to her right? Hmm? " - pushed with my nose making fun of his inability to say no to her.

He rolled his eyes but, I knew if she would beg him long enough he would try at the very least. He can't say no to the forest princess.

" Well..maybe after winter maybe." - he answered questions that weren't even asked.

" I didn't ask when..stupid. ..nevermind. "

I kept the secret to myself.

I agreed with him she was way to young. Plus I sort of liked it how we were the only two who ever witnessed something only the birds did everyday. After that we got very..excited soon and had an another magical experience.

" Dem, you can go next after Ilianna gets.."

Just then, Zephyr walked closer with a pale little girl who overdone it on his shoulder. Being privileged and spoiled had its drawbacks.

" See? You have to say no to her.." - I nodded wisely at the scene I predicted before they started.

" I have an army of healers in my family. I'm not worried. "

I stood up and took her from him.

I layed her down the blanket and covered her with another. Moving through the air so much, cooled her down. But her smile was still a happy one.

" Fine idiot..but take your sister in law before anyone else. Go." - I pointed at the women sitting a few feet from us.

He looked at Demelza with surprise.

" You haven't been? Alex is constantly try to make me take him around the village.. " - he pointed at the man sparing with someone off in the distance.

"..well then let's go, do something special."

Demelza looked super nervous as she was wrapped around from behind.

What special?

I waited too see with everyone from our close family sitting nearby. Alexander noticed the commotion and sat as well.

He leaned over to see her profile.." Try not to scream and take a deep breath. You might bite your tongue. Ready?"

She gulped, then pressed her mouth close and nodded.

He looked up and puff...gone. while some looked around them. I knew better and whipped my gaze upward.

There they were, about 40 ft above us and free falling fast. Then disappear again and landing near us with a whirlwind.

Soon as she was down on solid ground she jumped up and down in excitement. And thanked Zephyr.

Obviously others wanted something similar. He compiled with Mother, Eli, Lucian and Alex reluctantly.

They were heavy and..well he had to hold them close. I was shaking with my repressed laughter seeing his face as more man came forward.

I stepped in to save him.

" His done..his tired. SHOO.!"

I had plenty of practice getting rid those undesirables almost every day. Once left alone he joined Ilianna on the blanket and layed down.

" Thanks love.. "

I joined him and layed my head on his chest.

Enjoyed this peace the laughter around me and his caress on my hair, letting his heart beat be the loudest noise until some one disrupted it.

" Zephyr when exactly would you like to visit Malai city? I wish to you join with my family if that's okay?"

Metill was near us with his own sons and daughters.

His eldest son Moritz had a young bride recently engaged themselves called Petra. She was shy and polite brunette, I also noticed how she never made eyes to anyone but her fiancee.

I recognized love like that. For me all others might as well be potatoes next to my Zephyr.

Speaking of which he didn't answer and just looked at me. I remembered him promised a family trip.. no others, but now with this request he wanted know if it's okay with me.

I nodded gently. I didn't mind. Besides granny will probably like it.

" Absolutely. We will leave in.. " - we had postpone it one already just because of the fatigue from the previous trip. "..how does 3 days sound to everyone? Enough time to make lists? "

" I'm there little brother."

" Sounds good to us son."

" Hmm.."

Everyone agreed and the date was re set.
