We walked home early. Needed to sleep, we will wake with roosters tomorrow, me earlier to wake Anna then, wake mother. I cant have them laugh at my cooking again.

We walked slowly and I listed as he was answering Anna questions in his arms.

I got super heated waiting. Poured some wine to calm down my heart and time passed..them more time passed.

I was finished my second glass and been waiting 30 minutes. I walked upstairs and peeked in her room..

He was sleeping spooning Anna. Was she asleep? nope...

I went tiptoe to her and whispered so she could hear me.

In my frustration, I could've sworn I saw Zephyr smile with his eyes closed, but it was dark and Anna kept shooing me away.

I closed the door behind me and slumped down on the comfortable rug and rolled to our room..well mine.

I was willing to bet he was playing with me.

I should've rode him on that stupid tree and sleep like baby across our bed instead of smelling his clothes and still having trouble finding my dreams.
