I smiled brightly as he slowly faced me – I can get my old life back, I’m sure of it.

However, slowly – the bright smile seeped out of my face as the familiar yet now unfamiliar man looked my way. Chills slithered down my spine.

He… was faceless.

“Ah,” a faint sound left my mouth as fear crept into my system. He seemed like he was smiling my way – but there was nothing on his face. It was pure skin.

Just like the day, I lost it – lost my whole life.

I woke up with the same needles stuck into me again – I looked down to see Jaughnn with a defeated expression. He was looking down and tears were dripping into the hospital’s bedsheets.
