“Agh,” I grunt as I awoke from my nightmare. Days have passed since the incident and I still get nightmares, they all seem to stop at the exact moment my mother asks me to run away.
“Darling? Is everything alright?” Jaughnn stirs from his sleep as he noticed me sitting up. I smiled and nodded, “Don’t worry, I just got thirsty.”
I stepped out of the bed, to be stopped by Jaughnn’s hand grabbing me back.
I chuckle, “Darling, I need to drink water.” He shook his head, his eyes still closed as he sat up to hug me from behind, “Bring me with you…”
I flushed as I felt his bare skin against my back, I just can’t seem to get used to the attractiveness he exudes – I still can’t believe he’s my fiancé now.
“Fine, I’ll bring you with me,” I sigh as I got up, urging him to instead hold my hand. It’d be weird to go downstairs with a person back hugging you, that’ll take years.
As we went downstairs, the house was already dark – and now, I’m pretty glad this half-asleep Jaughnn is with me.
