“Virgo! Please!” I flinched as I saw the last man I’d want to see – the man suspected to be involved with my son’s accident.

Asher kneeled in front of me, he came here – believing Lux has died and my relationship with Jaughnn was irreparable.

“Lux suffered because of him! Even in his last moments… I can’t believe he wasn’t there for you. He was with another woman, you know that!” He exclaimed.

I raised my eyebrows – if I didn’t know any better, I reckon I’d believe everything he’s saying right now.
