Chapter 105

“Mommy! I want that!” Lux exclaimed as he tugged at my skirt – he was pointing at the chocolates Jaughnn just brought. I looked over at Jaughnn with a frown, “The doctor clearly told us no sweets for now!”

I slightly hesitated before sitting next to Lux – his physical therapist still guiding him. He has been improving very well since the day he woke up, he’s very optimistic as well.

“Baby, mommy promises to give you lots of chocolates after we are cleared by the doctor. You understand, right?” He nodded as he started working hard on trying to walk.

I remembered how I was the one to teach him small baby steps – and all because of a pesky ex-boyfriend’s incapability to drive with a stable mind. I should pay him a visit someday…

I smiled as the therapist complimented him, I clapped along as Lux smiled widely.

“Great job, baby!” I exclaimed as I cheered him on – as Jaughnn was looking down on his phone. I jabbed him on the side slightly which caused him to look up.
