" About Ammu…" he replied.

" Ammu! " Dhruv asked surprisingly.

" Yeah...Will you answer my question sincerely? You should not hide anything from me.. " Arvind asked.

" Sincerely? " Dhruv raised his eyebrow.

" Do you like my sister? " Arvind asked.

Dhruv didn't understand what to answer. He was scared that if he told him, " YES" he might lose his friendship with Arvind.

" Dhruv...I need the answer and that too from your heart. I am very serious about it. " he said in a serious tone.

" Yes, I like your sister. " Dhruv said nervously.

" Do you like to marry my sister after completing her studies?" Arvind asked him.

" Do you know what you are talking about?" Dhruv questioned Arvind.

" I know what I am talking about and I am very serious. I will be happy if you marry my sister because I trust you that you can keep her safe and happy whole life" Arvind said.

" But...you know about me. I am an orphan and…" Dhruv words were interrupted by Arvind.

" For me, you are my best friend. I believe in you. I will convince my father about it." Arvind promised.

" But...What about Ammu's feelings?." Dhruv doubted.

" She is my sister and she never says NO to me. And I think she also likes you that's why she was sharing her feelings with you. " Arvind said confidently.

" Tell me now, Will you marry my sister and become my brother in law?" Arvind asked, looking at Dhruv.

" I really like her a lot. I am ready to marry Amrutha now itself but once I want to talk with my mom because whatever I am now it is because of her. " Dhruv informed.

" So my friend fell in love with my sister...huh!!!" Arvind teased him.

" Stop teasing me and think how to convince your dad for the marriage," Dhruv said.

" Okay. I will take care about convincing my dad and also  I will come to your house to talk about it." Arvind said.

" Thank you so much. You are really my best friend who knew my heart." Dhruv hugged Arvind.

" I am feeling so excited that you accepted to marry my crazy sister. I think our friendship would be stronger after you get married to my sister" he said with a cheerful smile.

" Yeah…" Dhruv agreed.

" But...this matter should be confidential and between us for Amrutha's safety. " Arvind took a word from Dhruv.

"Sure. From now she is my responsibility too…." Dhruv assured.

For a few minutes, they spend talking with each other. Before Dhruv left for his home, he went to Amrutha's room. He noticed her sleeping on the bed. He went inside her room and walked towards her bed. He kneeled close to her and removed strands on her cheeks. 

He noticed that she was in deep sleep.

" I am so happy that your brother asked to marry you. It was hard for me to suppress my love for you in my heart for many days. That was the reason I stayed away from you for a few months. You don't know how much I craved for you and listened to your voice. Every night before I sleep, I used to remember the kiss we shared on that beautiful night. You cannot imagine how much I miss you all these days. " he confessed all his heart and kissed her cheeks.

" I love you...Ammu….more than anything in my life. I will wait until the day we get married and become one forever and ever. Just two years…." He kissed her knuckles.

" Good night, sweetheart."  He left the room.

Instantly, Amrutha opened her eyes and looked at the back of Dhruv. She doesn't understand what she heard is true or her imagination... She reminisced every word of Dhruv. She was confused about the kiss and that night. It was difficult for her to remember what happened that night. 

She sat on the bed and closed her eyes to recollect the incidents on that day. 

She was happy that her brother selected Dhruv to marry her. And also felt delighted on hearing the confession of Dhruv's love. But she was a bit angry that he avoided her for a few months and hurt her feelings. She wanted to tease him till they got married.

Dhruv drove the car full of excitement.

Dhruv was on cloud nine. He never expected that Arvind would ask him to marry Amrutha. In his life, he felt lucky for the first time. He returned to his home with so much smile on his face. He knew that his mom would accept Amrutha as her daughter in law because Amrutha is her best friend's daughter. Still, he had some fear in his mind that Amrutha approved his love. The whole night, he didn't sleep with excitement and anxiety.

The next morning in Dhruv's Mansion…..

Dhruv quickly got ready and went to the dining hall. He was so tense to talk about Amrutha. He quietly sat at the table and started their breakfast.

" Good morning. … Dhruv"  Vasundraji greeted.

" Good morning, Mom…" Dhruv replied.

He was so nervous to talk about his love and his palms were getting cold.

" Do you want to talk to me?" His mom asked him.

He gulped his throat and looked at her. His forehead was sweating badly.  He smiled at her nervously.

" Are you in love with any girl?"  His mom asked Dhruv looking at his state.

Immediately, he dropped the spoon from his hand and asked " how do you know mom?" With shock.

She smiled at Dhruv and replied, " We came to this age by crossing your age, my dear son"

" Who is she? What is her name? " She asked curiously.

"Amrutha…" he said.

Vasundraji's smile faded away from her face. She left the food and stood up from the chair. 

" Dhruv. . .Sorry, I can't agree for this marriage," she said looking at him.

" Mom, I love her so much. She is a very nice girl and suitable for our family. Please…." Dhruv requested.

" If you love your mom then forget about Amrutha." She said strictly.
