It's one of the hardest weeks of my life. I'm running every second from school to rehearsal at Bob's to fittings for the tour, to homework, and back to school.

Rehearsals go great. But that's not the problem. Because I feel confident when I'm sitting in Bob's studio basement with no one except him and Turk. Being in front of an audience is an entirely different thing.

We did one, tiny local open mic last night. It went well. But it was a dingy little bar on the rear-end of town. I couldn't see more than the first row of tables and booths. And I still lost some of the magic.

DJ Mink hasn't shown up. I didn't ask Turk why because I have a feeling I wouldn't like the answer. He still blindly believes the man is coming. And talks to me about it like he's worried I'll intentionally offend the guy, or something.

Tonight is the last night before the tour. I'll be rehearsing until midnight, and I'm ready to throw up with nerves.
