Chap 45:- Eight Beads
Here the second team finally managed to find the cave where Soul Reaper resided.
"Grrrr, ~~"
A creepy voice came from a dark can't in front of them.
"Nishio, we are ready to go in, give us the signal." One of them replied with a serious expression on his face.
"Some worry Yohan, if the captain is correct then soul Reaper must be sleeping, we will have plenty to get on our positions," Nishio replied with a deep breath.
"This cave gives me chills... Ray Xenon, both of you get ready you will walk behind us." Nishio walked forward entering the dark cave.
"Grrr~~!!"
The rumbling sound of the Soul Reapers echoed through the cave, making it scarier.
Nishio and Yohan walked closer to the sleeping beast.
It had a skull face, with one red eye at the centre, and it carried a long black scythe.
He wore a necklace of eight beads, Life, Death, Soul, Spirit, Blood, Rage, Darkness, Hell. These eight thick beads were written in an ancient language.
"Wow... Those beads are glowing..." Nishio was in aww on seeing magical beads.
"Don't be awestruck! We have to take positions!" Yohan was trying to keep his voice as low as possible he didn't want the beast to wake up before they take positions.
Nishio walked forward and concentrated his white mana into five rings, they floated circling him.
Yohan forged his white mana on his whole body.
Ray sat behind Nishio and Yohan and began to feed the whole ground his white mana.
"Xenon, go focus on your attack, it will be our last resort."
"Yes..." Xenon sat behind everyone and began to meditate.
"Let's begin our hunt!" Nishio and Yohan rushed towards Soul Reaper.
"Five Rings Of Heaven!"
Nishio ordered his five rings to expand and block Soul Reaper from moving.
"Now go, Ray!" Nishio signalled Ray to attack.
"Alright! Light Pillar!"
Ray shot his mana from the ground hitting Soul reaper inside.
"RAAAAARRRR~!" Soul Reaper Woke up from his slumber.
"Everyone fall back!!" Nishio ordered everyone to fall back.
"Raaaaaarrrr!!!!"
He tried to move his arm through the ring barrier but it restrained him.
"Yes! He's weak he can't break my barrier that easily!!" Nishio was happy on seeing Soul Reaper sealed like that.
"Raaaaaarrrr!!!!!" He picked up his scythe and swung it in circles.
"Raaaaaarrrr!!!"
*BBOOOOOMMMM*
The defensive ring blasted back to Nishio.
"Dam... These spatial beasts!" Nishio jumped in the air.
"Mana Ring! Shape Change hoverboard!"
One of his mana rings changed its shape into a hoverboard and began to float.
"Raaaaaarrrr!!!"
Soul Reaper grabbed his scythe and began to rampage!
He swung his scythe-like crazy in all directions destroying everything.
"What the hell!!! He's going crazy!!" Ray started to panic.
"Calm down!! Protect Xenon, he's our key to victory!" Yohan jumped in front of Xenon taking the direct blow from the scythe.
"Aaaaahh!!"
Even with his mana wrapped all around his body, he couldn't absorb the complete attack.
"You idiot! Your mana shield can't absorb super strong physical attacks! Have this!"
Nishio threw one bottle of regeneration portion.
"Oh okie."
Yohan drank the whole portion in one gulp.
"Woah! I feel myself getting stronger." All the wounds on Yohan's body healed within a second.
"Let's hold it back as much as possible!"
"Mana Ring! Shape Change Sword!"
"Mana Ring! Shape Change Shield!"
Nishio grabbed the sword and shield and rushed at the Soul Reaper.
"Take this!"
He swung his sword stabbing right through soul reaper.
"Graaaahhhhh!!!"
The Soul Reaper roared in rage.
He made himself merge with nature and appear right above them.
"You all... Why do you want to fight me...." the Soul Reaper decided to talk with them.
"It's none of your business! We will get what we want after we defeat you!" Nishio rushed forward on his hoverboard.
"Mana Rings! Shape Change White Light Rocket!" Nishio focused all five of his rings and turned them into a rocket launcher.
"Very well... I will give you the divine punishment..." Soul Reaper began chanting a few mantras.
"Does not matter what attack you do! Until we are in regeneration mode we can't be killed!" Yohan went ahead and punched Soul Reaper in its tummy region.
"Grrrr, ~~"
"BEAD OF LIFE! Hundred Summonings!!!"
Soul Reaper summoned an army of one thousand living beasts.
"Raaaaaarrrr!!!"
"Grrrr!!!"
"Roooaaar!!"
A thousand stood in front of them.
"What the heck!! Can a beast use summonings?" Ray couldn't believe his eyes.
"Xenon!! Hurry up you fucker! We are going due if you don't hurry!" Yohan began to panic as well.
"Don't be cowards! We can still win!!" Nishio took out two bottles of regeneration potion and threw them at Ray, and drank another one himself.
"We will complete this mission!"
*Boom*
Nishio launched a massive beam of light it pierced right through the Mary of beasts killing hundreds of them.
"I never thought I would have to sue my second ability... But guess have no other choice..."
"Light Chaser!"
Nishio's speed increased by leaps and bounds, he was barely visible to the naked eye.
"Hahahahaha, someone who can actually use Light Chaser! Excellent, I would be more than happy to guide your soul to my goddess!"
"BEAD OF DEAD! Dead Summoning!"
This time he re-summoned the dead beasts in front of them as if nothing happened.
"Dam!" Nishio launched another one of his beams of light but all the dead were re-summoned again.
"Don't bother yourself with them, they will get re-summoned again and again! They won't ever die! That's the power of my Bead Of Dead!! That bastard Inferno weakened me... So I can sue only these two for now, but don't worry it's enough to take care of you bastards!"
Soul Reaper grabbed his scythe and attacked Nishio and Yohan.
"Pillar of light!" Ray used his leftover mana to create his last pillar of light, it killed almost all of the summoned beasts, but sadly they were re-summoned.
"Dam this thing... I really hate spacial beasts!" Yohan rushed towards Soul Reaper and launched his last beam of light at him, but it barely affected that bastard.
The soul Reaper ran a muck, it destroyed everything and everyone in its way.
"I'm ready everyone..." Xenon was finally prepared for his final trump card, his ace.
"Yohan... Ray... Just lie down low and don't look... Don't look... No matter what..."
"Oh... This one... He is exploding with a massive amount of mana... Want some help in popping it out?" Soul Reaper grabbed his scythe and jumped towards Xenon.
"FIRST EYE OF SUN!!! Xenon covered one of his eyes with his hand and opened another one.
A massive amount of light broke out of his eyes, the light was super strong, it melted anything which didn't belong to the light mana or aura.
"GRAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!"
"That is not enough to take me out!!!!!!!" Soul Reaper began when struck by the light of his Xenons eyes, his skin started to melt away but his life force was super strong, and it held itself against the light, but his army was a burned tk crisp.
"I won't hold back either!!!!! SECOND EYE OF SUN!!" That being said he removed his hand from his eye and blinding light broke from it, the power and effects doubled.
"Raaaaaarrrr!!! No way!!! I'm the Soul Reaper!!!"
