Sam p.o.v

Sam that was the story of how u were adopted but how does Nia fit in this story? Lucy I found my parents after many years, they never forgot me. Over the years they had a daughter any guesses who that daughter is? Wait are you saying that Nia is your sister? Yes Lucy Nia is my sister. Sam that is wonderful you have amazing parents and Nia is the best sister you could ever have. Sam what I do not understand is how Nia will be able to find us? Last night something happened while I was sleeping, I was talking to Nia and she looked around this island through my eyes apparently she knows where we are , she said that help is on the way.

Nia p.o .v

Nia we reached look over there it looks like Sam says Roy. As we get off our boat Sam and Lucy are heading toward us. I run up to Lucy and hug her, we end up crying as we comfort each other .As I turn to Sam the two of us feel a bit awkward at first, eventually we remember that we were friends before we found out we were family, as I realised that I hugged him.

Lunch time everyone says Roy. Finally we get to eat proper food as much as I liked bananas and coconut I missed these sandwiches says Lucy. Sam can I talk to you for a moment there are a few things that you need to know. Sure Nia what’s wrong? As I tell Sam everything that happened this past month I see he is also crying for the loss of his parents yet he is determined to get back what rightfully belongs to us from our uncle. Let’s go home brother!

Thank you Nia and Roy for coming to find us this month has been a wonderful experience but I am ready to get back to normal even if it means night shift at the hospital says Sam. Nia can I please use your shower says Lucy. Of course Lucy down the passage. I go to my room and find spare clothes for Lucy to use once she is done. Suddenly I get a phone call. Hello? Hi Nia its Alice I just wanted to know if you wanted to meet up tomorrow we have amazing news to share with you. Can you tell Roy to come since James, Ashley, Stanley and Jason will be here also, sure can I bring Lucy and Sam we have news to share also? Let’s meet at Tommys for breakfast? Sure we will be there see you soon.

Next morning

Good morning everyone how are you’ll? We all are well thanks says everyone together. It is so good to see you again Nia at least now you remember us says Karen. (laughing) It is good to be back with all of you’ll says Sam. Hey everyone the usual’s I presume says Tiana , we have been friends since college days and would always be our waitress. Yes Tiana thye usual thanks and it is so good to see you again says Lucy.

So Nia how have you been says Alice? It wasn’t easy. Everyday I used to wake up wishing that it was all a dream. All I wanted this stabbing pain in my chest to stop. I wanted to see mom making pancakes or dad reading the newspaper but once I entered the gloomy kitchen I realized this nightmare is indeed true. Somedays I wake up from a dream shouting for my parents but they never came to check on me. My heart broke everytime I looked at a picture of us on the walls, at that time it was the only memory I had of them.

So what happened Nia how did you pull yourself together after the death of your parents says Lucy.

Well everytime I felt down I would go to their grave just to get some peace. I felt as if they were with me talking to me. They would give me strength to live another day without them. I just somehow knew that no matter what my uncle or people threw my way I would be able to overcome it because I knew deep down in my heart that my parents are proud of me and they are watching over me.

Nia why did you mentioned your uncle says Ashley.

This happened one month ago after the car accident. My uncle came home with the police find out if my father had a will. Since I had memory loss my uncle paid the cops to write in the official report that dad never had a will. Due to my mental illness the court made my uncle take over the hospital but he was not allowed to sell the hospital due to the fact that I was still part owner. I was allowed to stay in my house but all of dads properties were handed over to him. Nia what do you mean properties? My grandparents stated in a will that their house be given to my uncle while their overseas properties be given to my father and his children. Since my uncle rebelled against them he wasn’t given anything else which is why he forcefully took everything away from me. I have been to court so many times since then with proof that the property belongs to me but everytime my uncle bribed the judge.

Nia what about the dance studio that was a gift from your father how is it possible that your uncle wasn’t allowed to take over that says Jason?

Jason the studio is in my name, when dad bought it he made sure that the studio could only be mine. My parents and Roy made my dream of one day owning a dance studio a reality for my 16th birthday.

Roy when Nia was going through all this how did you cope and how did you manage to stay away from her when you knew she needed you the most says Stanley.

It wasn’t easy Stan. I watched her break down so many times that I was afraid that I was going to lose her. She was this happy smiling person at work but even from a distance away I could see it was forced. Nia has this glow that wherever she goes people stop to admire her determination to pick herself up everytime she fell. As for her uncle,my friend Finn who was Nia’s bodyguard at the time recorded an audio of some men that were sent to kill Nia. When I called a few of my trusted police officers we managed to expose the police who took bribes and the judge. Nia’s uncle is not allowed even 10 meters near her without my permission.
