Staying Together

"It's okay."

Rigel wrinkled his forehead because Leandra was not usually lethargic and didn't invite him to argue. Rigel returned to his work in front of the laptop screen.

Leandra started to put her clothes in but she left some of them. He didn't forget to pack all his books and knick-knacks, including his favorite pink teddy bear. Rigel silently watched Leandra.

"Why look around, I can't take this doll with me?"

"Go ahead, I won't stop you. It's just surprising that you like things like that too."

"Actually I don't like it but this is a gift from Mom and Dad for my 10th birthday."

Rigel nodded his head slowly.

Now all of Leandra's things have been packed, only a few are left.

"Tomorrow morning?"

"No, just after you go to college."

Leandra was silent and continued her activities playing cell phones.

Morning at 08.00 AM

Leandra had left early in the morning to be escorted by Rigel to campus because she was also working but not yet fully full. It only works until noon.

Around noon Leandra had finished with her lectures, coincidentally she went home with Renza because at that time Rigel had not come home.

30 minutes later after Leandra was home, Rigel arrived. Soon they will move house because they are afraid of the night and have to clean up their things at Rigel's house.

"Mom, Lea will definitely miss you," while hugging her mother, even Leandra became very spoiled.

"I'll play here when I'm free, honey."

"Dad, Lea says goodbye, please don't leave Mom," as she hugged his father tightly.

Her father smiled and was a little touched because he was going to part with his only daughter.

"My handsome Leonal, don't forget to take your brother to play with tofu, if you want to play, bring some food."

"It's really bad, Sis, if I had the chance to play there."

Now after shaking hands and saying goodbye, Leandra and Rigel started their journey to Rigel's house.

After traveling for about 2 hours, they finally arrived at Bougenvil housing. They stopped at the yard of the house which was quite wide, green and very beautiful. The house is quite spacious with black gray paint and looks very elegant against the green grass.

"This is your house?"

"Yeah, so whose house if not mine."

Leandra nodded her head as she looked at the house. Exactly with his favorite black color, especially seeing the green garden that is so clean and beautiful.

They started bringing their belongings into the house. At first Leandra was really amazed from the outside and even the inside of the house. Clean, tidy and fragrant.

"Where did my suitcase go?"

"Just put it in the room."

"Which one has a lot of rooms."

Rigel walked in and was followed by Leandra who was dragging her suitcase. Arrive in one of the rooms to the right of the house. The room is quite spacious and how surprised Leandra was because the room looked very comfortable, especially since there was a window overlooking the green garden beside the house that reminded her of her room.

"Put your clothes here, there are 2 doors that are still empty, if it's not enough, just tell me."

"Wait, so we're roommates?"

"If you want but must want."

"Must?"

"Yes, because in this room there are many valuables and I often go so I leave everything with you."

"So I'm just to look after your belongings and your house here?"

"Exactly," said Rigel with a slight smile.

Leandra widened her eyes because she saw Rigel's smile so sweet in front of him, especially since he was so handsome.

'This man is really sweet,' he said to himself.

"What are you doing, Leah?"

"Oh no, okay I'm sleeping here but on the condition that you still don't touch me."

"This is my room so you have to follow the rules here."

"What the hell, it's not fair," he said, following Rigel out of the room.

"What's not fair, it's in my house."

"Don't be arrogant, yes, but still you can't go wrong, Rigel."

"Shutt!" said Rigel who turned his body and his index finger was right on Leandra's lips.

Leandra froze for a moment.

"What the hell! Do you want anything?"

"Sorry I didn't mean to, you're really noisy after all."

Leandra grunted in annoyance and returned to the room.

Rigel who saw his behavior just shook his head. Not long after that he took some of Leandra's things to bring to the room. He helped Leandra clean up everything.

"You don't need to be helped, I can do it myself," Lea nonchalantly answered.

"You're angry?"

"No, why am I angry, this is your house. I have no right to do anything."

Rigel sighed, he really had to be patient with this high school student who had just graduated.

Leandra finished tidying her clothes and now put some storage boxes on top of the cupboard using a makeup chair which was now unstable until Leandra almost fell, fortunately Rigel caught her quickly.

After that Leandra came down from Rigel's arms which made her heart go wild.

"Next time you ask for help, how hard is it to ask for help?"

"Yeah sorry, you're not going to help anyway, are you?"

"If you need me, I'm here."

Rigel lowered the storage box and arranged it beside the cupboard.

"You don't have to put it on top, it will be difficult if you want to take it."

"There's a chair, so you can."

"What if I'm not around and you fall?"

"Yeah sorry, I'm wrong again just keep on doing it."

"It's not like that Lea, you are my responsibility. Whatever you experience, I will bear it all, your Dad has ordered to take care of you."

Leandra was really surprised to hear those words smoothly spoken by Rigel who she had only known for a few days, very different from Adrian.

"Thank you," Leah said, looking down.

"Is there anything else I want to help you with?"
