Chapter Thirty Two: Demon Mind Trackers

Without saying another word, Ahpunch turned on his heel and walked out the door. Nick and Jonah exchanged a confused glance before scrambling to their feet and following Ahpunch. He paid no attention to them as they continued to pepper him with questions. Jonah didn’t particularly love the idea of asking Ahpunch for help and loved even less, being ignored by him as he walked away.

“Where are you going?” Jonah barked in a harsh tone. Ahpunch grunted but otherwise remained silent as he continued to walk forward. Jonah turned to Nick who shrugged. “I mean, should we continue to follow him?” Again, Nick shrugged but both the boys continued after the irritated demon.
