Chapter Thirty One: A Lovers Choice

Ahpunch had been so wrapped up in his new connection with Joel that he hadn’t realized it had been almost a month since he had seen Mazakin at all. He had started to actually do homework for classes he wasn’t even really registered in. Ahpunch found himself mesmerized by this thing called ‘Facebook’ that Joel had put on his phone. He found himself staring at pictures he had taken with Joel much longer than necessary. If Lucifer had been in h*ll, he might have been concerned with how long Ahpunch had been gone.

Ahpunch had almost completely forgotten about Jonah and Nick or any reason why he started to come to earth. He had all but forgotten he wasn’t actually human. So he was a little surprised and caught off guard when Jonah and Nick approached him in the cafeteria, while he waited for Joel.

“How’s it going, Adam?” Nick questioned, with too much emphasis on his fake name.

“What do you want?” Ahpunch snarled.
