Chapter Forty: Lucifer’s Choice

“Well, come along, my little children. Let’s not dottle,” Lucifer stated before abruptly standing up and walking out of the room. Nick, Jonah and Mazakin all exchanged awkward glances before following Lucifer out of the room.

Jonah took Mazakin’s hand tightly in his as they walked.

“Where are we going?” Jonah whispered but Mazakin just shrugged.

“I have no idea, I really thought he would just punish us all there and that would be it,” Mazakin answered. “But it looks like he is taking us back to his office.”

“We are going to go see Lucifer’s office?” Nick questioned, sounded like a true fan girl. It looked like he was having a difficult time containing all his excitement.

“Yes, so he can punish us and probably destroy us, get it together Nick!” Jonah shouted in a whisper. Nick quickly composed himself.
