A new place and surroundings

The car ride there was not boring to say the least ,it took approximately 1hr to reach the house in between the one hour I looked at the scenery of the sides while talking to Harukaze-san he told me some funny storied of my mom's childhood and asked me about the home back in china when we reached the place to my surprise it was not a straight up mansion like it happens to anime mc's but it was in fact a large sized home, it was larger than or home in china , it had a garage and a pool in the back side of the size , He dropped me in front of the house and left saying he had work to do as he left all work hearing about his sister.

When I ringed the calling bell, my dad opened the room in a cooking apron and said " Nice timing kid I just prepared cooking food ", I entered the house and I was like I was in a anime it was like the stranded modern Japanese house and the dining room was big. After sitting in the dining room father brought the dishes which were Japanese and I asked with a surprised voice "Since when can you cook Japanese food dad".

He smiled while looking proud" I can cook since you mother taught them to me" I asked in return" but mom never cooked Japanese food in china".

He replied to my question by saying while eating "your mother's fake documents were for another country and we were being watched by the governments as they had their suspicion over me".

I nodded and started eating my lunch which curry with rice also called oyakata in Japanese.

After finishing my lunch dad cleaned the table and told me I had my room on the second floor, I reached my room and opened it and oh my god it was furnished with modern stuff like the room had a mini fridge very futuristic looking pc and a very big size bed, there was also a attached bathroom and a big cupboard in the wall. This was like the dream room for any anime lover and there was a bookshelf too with a few books. I looked at the table and there was a ATM card with a note saying "use this for your daily use I have lots of money to spoil you and don't tell your mother "and then a few laughing emoji shape drawing, ah he already stated what mom stopped him from doing though it's not like I don't like it, it's very much welcomed as I didn't had grandparents in my previous life.

I just took the card and put on a new random shirt and hoodie and trouser form the form the selves and don't ask how they were here I could guess it was the work of grandpa, I told dad that I was going out and he shouted form the living room "don't go too far as you don't know the area well" I shouted yes and got out of the house.

After going out of the house I just picked a random direction and started going towards I first reached a 7\11 store which I entered and got some drinks like coke and stuff for my mini fridge in the house and some snakes, after walking a little I reached a book shop which I entered and got myself a beginner Japanese learning book.

After entering a few of the shops in the walk I was just about to return when I saw it , a café which was very similar looking like in the anime , I got curious seeing it and decided to enter it . Entering the shop , I go seated in a single person seat and took the menu and saw the things there were there was even a portion alone for ghouls , I decided to order something form them when I heard a voice saying "what would you like to order " ,I turned my head to the side and saw the one and only ken kaneki aka the main character of Tokyo ghoul and he seems to work\own the place , I just looked towards him and smiled and said " oh I would like a cappuccino with some red velvet cake " He replied " coming up " and left to prepare it.

When he left I started looking around the place it was a little different form the anime but not by much and it was not crowed , the place only had like 4 more people except me and every one of them was doing something of their own.

After 5 minutes of waiting Ken-san came with the drink and the cake and left to attend to others, I just drank and ate it while reading that Japanese beginner book to get the hang of it, I will get it in a week because,well because I am a ghoul and I don't know if all ghouls have enhanced brain power but I had.

After finishing the drink and cake I got a call form father saying that mom is home and I should come back as it was getting a little late.

I was going to the counter to pay the bill and while paying Ken aka the mc asked me" are you new here kid, I haven't seen anyone like in the area ".

I replied "oh yes my family just moved here "as I can't just say I ran from another country even if the said person was a good person", he nodded and passed me the bill.

After paying I started walking towards the house and reached in 20 minutes, when I entered the house I saw that mom was cooking in the kitchen and chifen-san and dad were watching the news as they understood Japanese because they used to work in departments where they had to go out of country to many places and among them they came to Japan many times.

After coming home I entered my room and kept the drinks and snacks in the mini fridge and laid in the bed to sort out my mind and fell asleep soon without eating dinner.
