Fuyu's Friends

[Episode 17]

Just a few more points to go before I can finally buy a proper weapon!

*Rustle*

That noise. Could more goblins be preparing to attack us? Even though it's an opportunity to gain more points, I'm feeling quite nervous for some reason.

*Snap!*

From the sound of their footsteps, the beasts sound larger than the goblins we fought before. Could it actually be some sort of dangerous creature?

A group of three people slowly identify themselves from the same direction as the trampling noises from within the forest trees.

The group, with members wielding powerful-looking weapons, consists of two guys and a girl.

As they approach us with concerned faces, the man who seems to be the group leader casts a shadow over us with his tall and large figure.

We glare at each other for a while before the woman, with chestnut coloured hair, peeks from behind him and breaks the intense aura with her voice. "Fuyu, just where did you run off to?!"

Fuyu looks away as she tries to form an excuse, fiddling with her fingers. "Uhm... I- I just wanted to take a little look around but got a bit distracted."

Glancing over at Fuyu for answers, I notice that her bubbly face has turned more aloof and cuter looking than when she was just with me before.

"Hey, kid." The leader brusquely interjects, "I'm taking this trouble-maker out of your hands."

Fuyu looks up at him with a soft gaze.

The man swiftly and easily lifts Fuyu placing her onto his shoulder and leads her back the way they came from, and despite carrying her like a child, which Fuyu told me she hated before, her face surprisingly turns into a bright peach colour from ear to ear.

Fuyu glances back at the man, blushing even harder than before, "Jaehyun-Nim… I-"

The muscular man, Jaehyun, responds, "Kaze-Ssi you can't keep disturbing random people like this." He pauses and turns towards me, "See ya later kid. Audrey-Ssi, Carter-Ssi, let's get going."

The other members wave goodbye and disappear into the trees with Fuyu.

The air around Fuyu shifted so sharply. She could barely take her eyes away from that Jaehyun guy when he showed up so there's no doubt, Fuyu is madly in love with him.

It seems like Fuyu fell in love at first sight when she first ended up here. But wasn't she the one telling me how important it is to be wary and assert your confidence over strangers and such?

I mean, she even glared at me when we met, but It's honestly no surprise she gave up on her ideals considering how attractive he was.

His jaw was so chiselled it could cut stones in half and his dark-brown hair glistened as he swooshed it back with his hands. His turtleneck hugged his muscular, contoured body making him look like a Korean actor.

He's perfect for the unrivalled snowflake beauty, Fuyu. Honestly, they look so charming that I'm squirming in pain over here with how pathetic I look both as a man and a woman.

Not only is he handsome though, but he's also extremely tall. When Fuyu stood next to him, it made me realise just how short she is. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that she's less than 152cm while that guy is at least 182cm.

Actually, now that I think about it, even after becoming a woman, I seem to be the same height as before, 178cm so I guess I sorta already noticed that she was tiny.

Although, I am pretty tall for a woman now, but Fuyu is definitely just short. I mean, I even thought she was a child despite actually being 10 years older than me. Though she definitely has the looks for it.

Speaking of, aside from having a good skillset, superior looks is also a prerequisite for joining their group. Even the other two members were ridiculously attractive.

There was the woman with her half tied up curly chestnut coloured hair, tanned skin, pink lips and ample chest nicely accentuated by her corset and blue loose-fitting summer dress while that other guy, simply just wearing a plain white t-shirt and blue jeans managed to draw attention to his equally as impressive muscles and dirty blonde hair.

Anyways, although it was quite sudden, it seems that I am once again alone. For now, I'll open my profile to check my current points.

I'm quite curious as to what this skill has to offer but I've only got twenty points which I've been saving to buy the dagger. I only need five more to get it so I can't afford to get it right now.
