Chapter 34: The New CEO
“Dylan has relinquished his title to me in hopes that you will support my role as CEO and the plans that we have decided to set forth. I propose that every board member who has an active interest in this firm agrees to take on one pro-bono case per semester. In addition, we establish a charity for victims of theft and abuse that we donate to yearly. Last, we come clean to the media about our history and the plans we have to make things right. Dylan hopes that within time, you will come to forgive his mistakes and once again support him for the position of CEO” Zoe said, taking a sip of water from one of the glasses on the table.
She knew this was asking a lot. She was asking for faith and trust. Dylan had already broken the director’s trust, and here she was hoping to get it back.
Although what she was asking would be difficult to accept, she knew that those interested in doing the right thing would back her. That is what this was about. Doing the right thing.
