Tears for the Lad

Meanwhile in Jake’s home, it had really gotten so dark and late but his grandmother was so worried that the young lad had not returned home yet and she then called the county’s chief and stated a missing person’s report.

His grandmother who was really good friends with the chief begged her friend saying, “Sheriff David, please no matter what you have to do please find my grandson.”

She pleaded as she sobbed loudly, the sheriff, David who was her friend and knew what she had gone through said to her.

“Iris, please don’t worry I will do the best I can to make sure he’s safe and alright. I just need you to trust me and my team, okay?”

Iris, Jake’s grandmother responded while still weeping, “Of course I trust you. We have been friends a long time.”

“Okay, give us some time we will contact you if we find anything so just leave it to us and try to calm down.” Sheriff David said “He only went into the woods, nothing that bad could probably happen.”

“I hope that you’re right, given the type of night this is all happening on.” Iris says slowly as she slowly stops crying. Then she whispers quietly into the sheriff’s ear and says “You and I both know what can be out there. Please, be careful too.”
