Old Friends

The Sheriff pulled up at Iris’ home and started telling her what had happened to Jake saying, “Iris we have found your grandson but he’s not in a great state so we took him to the hospital.”

Iris was sad but also relieved and said to him, “Thank goodness, now come take me to the hospital I must see him now.”

David had a rather disturbed look on his face at that moment and said to Iris, “I will take you to see him in a minute, but first we need to talk.”

Iris responded, “Okay, what is this about? Can’t it wait?” David was hesitant a bit to tell the situation to Iris because he knew that she would get too worried and restless but more so he knew the implications.

Despite his hesitations, he spoke up and said, “Yes we will have talk about this now because we can’t in the hospital. Iris, I think that they are back.”
