CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

  After some days of mourning , Collins starts living with Hash's family again, since they don't want him to feel depressed at home, which is why Thomas asked him to be living in their house .     

 " I think we should not tell Alexia about her parents yet" Collins suggested , when they were eating breakfast at the dinning. 

 "Yeah it's true I think the same,I will employ someone that is going to be monitoring her for me ,if she needs anything the person I am employing will know and will easily tell me before she could think of calling her dad for anything" Steven announced his intentions to them.

    " If you said that but you remember she will still want to reach her Peter " Steven's father exclaimed    

 " Let's just wait and watch to know her next move first before we can decide on it and thanks for the help I really appreciate it " Collins finalized their conversation.

    " I will be on my way now " Steven said standing up  from  the chair he was sitting attempting to shift the chair back a little to make way for him to pass when his mother's voice stopped him.  

  "Son but  you barely eat your food , should I pack the food for you to your office " his mother asked calmly

 " No mom i'm full already and I will be going to my house today" he said to them before walking out.

     " Good morning sir" his secretary Miriam greeted Steven anxiously immediately she noticed his arrival ,his employees always stood up from their seats whenever they noticed his arrival,the one walking would wait for him to go before going his own way. Steven was a very strict boss,he liked making money all his life and he had very strict rules for his employees and even himself.

    One of his rules was No Dating In The Office , his belief in this is that they will lose concentration and will result in him not having enough money for the week.

    Steven has four private employees whose only work is to calculate his money for the week .

"Meet me in my office now" Steven said without returning any of his workers' greetings ,Miriam quickly stopped what she was doing and followed him. 

       " You said your father was sick and you don't come to the office for two days " Steven said angrily, staring at Miriam for any suspicious expression but was disappointed for not finding any expression from her ,just then Nazeem entered Steven's office .

   " What up guy? I just heard what happened immediately when I got back from the state. My bags are still inside the car outside, " Nazeem said walking towards Steven's private sitting room in his office .

    "  See you earlier, how are you doing ? " Nazeem always addresses her with familiarity but Miriam always declines the familiarity because of the office rules.

   " Fine sir" she replied while her eyes meet her boss staring at her angrily

   " Your salary will be deducted this month ,for having two days at home " Steven said and was about to follow Nazeem inside his private sitting room.  " But sir it was on the rules that the maximum emergency leave we must take was a month for the whole year and have never have such emergency leave since about six months have started working here sir , please don't deduct my salary please " she pleaded " you are saying something " Steven asked mockingly making Nazeem wanted to punch his friends face with that mocking expression of his.

   " Don't worry I will help you to talk to him and I will give you feedback on it " Nazeem said seriously making Steven a little bit shocked with the way his friend is serious about her matter because Nazeem is not someone that is serious.

" Don't worry sir I will take my leave now " she said and walked away .
