My Ex-Husband Desires Me

"Wh..wh.. what is this Maxwell?" She raised her head, her vision was blurred with unshed tears.   "Can't you read?" He asked, "I'm filing for a divorce, sign it and let's both go our separate ways." He handed her a pen.   "What did I do? I thought you said you loved me. Were you just fooling with me? Did you toy with my feelings?" She sobbed. The tears she had been holding flowed freely down her cheeks.   "Don't act like you don't know what you did. What? You thought I would never find out? You gold-digging whore!" He yelled.    Morgana grabbed the table cloth, every word that left his mouth was like an arrow piercing through her chest. "Why would you say that to me? You've known me for a year now, do I look like a gold digger to you?" She cleaned her tears, but the tears kept falling nonstop.   "That's because you are good at acting. Do you want me to tell you what you did since you can't seem to remember?"    "You are the reason I got drunk that night, You got me drunk just so you could sleep with me and after that, you leaked the information because you knew that my family would ask us to get married just to save our reputation."  ........... After their wedding anniversary, which ended up with a divorce, Morgana swore to herself that she would work hard and earn for herself and her unborn baby. But then, her supposed Ex-Husband wants her back and is trying his best to get back into her life.

I'm your business partner

"What are you saying? Is this a joke?" Morgana asked.

"I don't know you, Mom, who is she?" Maxwell asked. Maxwell shifted back when Morgana tried to touch him.

"Maxwell, what are you saying?" Clarissa asked. "She is your wife."

"Wife? How can I be married? I'm still trying to recover from Phoebe's rejection." Maxwell looked so serious.

"I'll get the doctor," Morgana said as she ran to the doctor's office.

The doctor came back and checked on Maxwell. "He has amnesia, he lost a few years of his life."

Morgana took a few steps backward, she almost fell if not for Clarissa. She is about to tell Maxwell that they are married but the doctor stops her.

"I'll advise you not to force him to remember, you might damage him even more, let him recover on his own. Take him to familiar places but don't force him to remember."
