My Ex-Husband Desires Me

"Wh..wh.. what is this Maxwell?" She raised her head, her vision was blurred with unshed tears.   "Can't you read?" He asked, "I'm filing for a divorce, sign it and let's both go our separate ways." He handed her a pen.   "What did I do? I thought you said you loved me. Were you just fooling with me? Did you toy with my feelings?" She sobbed. The tears she had been holding flowed freely down her cheeks.   "Don't act like you don't know what you did. What? You thought I would never find out? You gold-digging whore!" He yelled.    Morgana grabbed the table cloth, every word that left his mouth was like an arrow piercing through her chest. "Why would you say that to me? You've known me for a year now, do I look like a gold digger to you?" She cleaned her tears, but the tears kept falling nonstop.   "That's because you are good at acting. Do you want me to tell you what you did since you can't seem to remember?"    "You are the reason I got drunk that night, You got me drunk just so you could sleep with me and after that, you leaked the information because you knew that my family would ask us to get married just to save our reputation."  ........... After their wedding anniversary, which ended up with a divorce, Morgana swore to herself that she would work hard and earn for herself and her unborn baby. But then, her supposed Ex-Husband wants her back and is trying his best to get back into her life.

"Anyways, how is dad? I hope he is good."

"Dad is fine, he is helping with things over here." Maxwell muttered.

They video chatted for long like Young teenagers when they have their first relationship. After they ended the calkt, Morgana went to check up on the kids, they were still playing their video games.

"Guys, it's late, let's call it a day and go to bed." Morgana said.

"Mom, please just one more game." Aurora begged.

"Since when did you start playing video games?" Morgana asked.

"I hang out with the boys a lot." Came her little respond to Morgana's question. She entered the room fully and sat on the bed watching them play video games. Aurora wasn't bad but she was no match to her brothers. It got to a point that they let her win. Morgana didn't know when one last round turned to five more rounds.

"That's enough, we should call it a day, go get ready for bed." Morgana said.
