On the other side

Viru, Rex, Karina, and Luther reached their final destination by successfully locating the rhino warrior encampment.

They carefully observed the movements of the settlers from a safe distance so as not to let the enemy find out about their hideout.

'That's a lot of monsters, Viru sama' said Rex as he peeked deep into the rhino settlements.

'This is going to be a lot of fun indeed.'

Said Karina as she listened to the movements of the enemy with her golden rabbit ears.

'It'll be alright, we just need a proper plan' Viru concluded to this ongoing fact discussion.

'This camp has warriors who are atleast as strong as me when I fought Zain before becoming Viru sama's subordinate. The leaders of this camp are somewhere inside making rounds and carefully coordinating the monsters. There are two main leaders we should be wary of. They are twins born to the previous leader of the camp. Fortunately, the previous leader died. He was pretty strong about the fact that I wouldn't have agreed to come here as a group with just the four of us. I wouldn't underestimate the siblings either, both individually must be atleast as strong as the current me. The sister is a trained spear warrior and the brother is a powerful tamer who controls a range of beasts. In addition to them, there are atleast 20 more warriors of my previous strength.'

Explained Luther about the village where he used to serve as a warrior.

'What an impressive bunch!' Exclaimed Viru.

'Do you think the siblings would agree to my proposal of subordination?' Asked Viru without postponing the thought.

'No way. They would gladly die fighting ' Replied Luther.

'Hmm, guess it won't happen that easily' exhaled Viru as the thought of the hardship hit him.

The group started putting ideas together and came up with a foolproof plan for a while.

After a long meticulous discussion, they all finally agreed to a plan to overtake the village.

'Let's commence it then.' Uttered viral. Without a second thought, he started moving towards the facade of the settlement. The settlement was covered by wooden walls.

As he closed in, he aggravated a bunch of basic rhino monsters who weren't evolved enough to be called the rhino warriors. These monsters were spread around the settlement. The monsters noticed Viru and started to run towards him with great agro.

As the monsters closed in on Viru, he used Zain's terrain manipulation skill and made the monsters struggle with their advance, finally trapping them in the mud that he created using his mana. As the monsters got stuck, Viru flew in with his fire fists, knocking the monsters in a single punch.

This battle alerted the rhino warriors inside the settlement. The guards caught wind of the situation outside and marched out to deal with the entity.

Viru watched as the rhino warriors lined in front of him as they marched outside the settlement.

A woman rhino warrior with her spear appeared on the front lines. A green knitted scarf was tied to her spear and the scarf fluttered in the wind.

'One, two, three, …..' viru started counting the warriors that were dispatched to deal with him.

As his count reached more than a dozen warriors, he summoned forest tree vines and roots making them seal off the entry to the settlement. The entrance was now closed off with thorny vines.

The warriors were confused as they caught light on their situation. Viru just trapped them outside, leaving the other soldiers and the leader tamer inside. The sister realized the depth of the danger she was in. Her only option now is to defeat the man in front of her without the help of her brother.

This sealing was the signal for Rex, Karina, and Luther to enter the village through the other side.

They followed the plan thoroughly and entered the village as the signal was shown.

The group agreed to this strategy because Luther mentioned the battle prowess of the twin siblings together. In a head-on battle, the twins would fight together maximizing their overall potential. They both were well trained from a young age to deal with various enemies. A battle without chaos would be impossible if the twins fought together. If they had attacked the settlement head-on, the losses would have been huge.

Even though Viru can revive monsters, his capacity has a limit. Reviving so many dead monsters was not possible for him at the moment. So the group agreed to divide and conquer.

Luther burst open the wooden gate that was built on the other side of the settlement. Rex and Karina as support, the second team started to conquer their part of the plan.

The door burst with a Loud noise, which the sister happened to hear. Her anxiety took control of her for a few moments. She was terrified about the possibility of what could have happened at the other end. As her thoughts were reorganized in a moment, she returned her focus towards Viru as he stood boldly in front of a large group of their rhino warriors.

'You picked the wrong one to mess with!' Screamed the sister as she let out a terrifying scream filled with rage.

'We'll see about that' declared Viru as he readied himself for the battle.

He was overwhelmed by the number of warriors that stood right in front of him. He felt that he couldn't deal with this number alone.

As he stood facing these warriors, Viru began to cast dark magic around him, making the land near him turn black.

A big black cat-like monster with parts of its skull exposed emerged out of that black liquid around him.

It was an undead Grayon that Viru found in the forest and turned into his undead using Luro's skill.

This grayon wasn't the end of the undead that he had under him, half a dozen rabbit demihumans emerged one by one out from the surface. Following that were a couple of wolfs and boars. They stood near Viru as he eyed the enemy warriors.

The warriors felt a chill in their spine making their will shake for a moment. They instantly shook their fear off and prepared themselves for an intense battle ahead.

On a single command, the undead and Viru sprinted towards the enemy as the enemy warriors did the same.

Viru went full-on with his fire fists and met the defense of three warriors. Their defensive skills were fruitless against Viru as the three of them were knocked flying away.
