My Demon Mates

Lydia Jennings was your normal 21-year-old young lady. She had just started her first job after finishing school. It wasn't her dream job, but it was a start. She still loved to do the things from her early teenage years, not that she'd tell anyone else that for fear that they'd make fun of her. She loved to read, especially stories of the Victorian Era. After her senior year, her parents sprung and bought her a trip to London. Those tales painted a vastly different picture than this modern world. Then there was her other guilty pleasure. She loved watching Black Butler. It was set in the same era but with supernatural elements. She was drawn to some of the characters in the show but brushed it off. It wasn't like she'd ever get to meet them, they were fictional. She kept her head down and continued her life until one day everything changed. I don't own Black Butler or any of the characters!

Two New Lives

It was another month and sometime later before it was time for Lydia to give birth. Sebastian and Claude set her up in their room and wouldn't leave her side. It was some hours later before the two new little lives joined the little family. Lydia gave birth to two little boys. They each had brown hair. The first had golden eyes like Claude, and the second had scarlet eyes like Sebastian. So each of her mates had had a son. Lydia smiled weakly. The two fathers looked on at the scene in awe. Lydia handed Claude his son and said, "His name is Silas."

Claude opened his mouth to argue, but Lydia shook her head. Claude looked down at his little son and said, "Hello my little one."

Lydia then handed Sebastian his son and said, "His name is Colin."

Sebastian looked down at his son and said, "Let's go and get your mother something, my boy."

Sebastian got up with Colin and left the room. When he came back, he had a cup of tea. He handed it to Lydia. Lydia asked, "Is this what I think it is?"

"It is love. Just drink it. You need it," Claude said as he held Silas close to his chest.

Lydia took the cup and downed it. It tasted sweet and filled her belly. It made her feel stronger. She looked to Sebastian, "What will the babies eat?"

"They will get their nourishment from you for the first bit, then they will eat human food for a few years, but once they reach the age of 18 they will need human souls," Sebastian said.

"Will we be able to stay here?" Lydia asked, now getting nervous.

"Probably not once the children become adults," Claude said honestly.

Lydia frowned. She wanted to stay with Ceil, but she understood, "We should let Ceil in to see the boys."

Sebastian smiled as he set Colin back into Lydia's arms, "I believe you're correct. He was pacing the halls when we can in."

"Please let him in, my dear," Lydia asked as she cuddled Colin.

Sebastian opened the door and walked out. It wasn't long before both Ceil and Sebastian came in. Ceil was quiet as he came in. Lydia beckoned him over to the bed with her free hand. "Come over Ceil and meet our sons."

"Sons?" Ceil said with a little quirk of his mouth.

"Indeed," Lydia said pushing herself up further in the bed as Ceil got to the bed. "This little one is Colin and Claude is holding Silas."

"Is it terrible of me to ask of the fathers?" Ceil asked, an odd look on his face.

"Not at all," Lydia soothed.

Sebastian placed a hand on Ceil's shoulder, "Colin is my son."

"And Silas is mine," Claude said.

Ceil smiled. A genuine smile! "I'm happy for you... for all of you. I don't know what I would do without you all."

"I have no doubt that you would figure it out, young master," Sebastian said.

Claude nodded at that. The twins began to cry not long after that. "I hate to cut this short, but Lydia must feed the children now."

Ceil seemed to understand and left so that Lydia could feed the twins. Soon after the twins fell asleep. Lydia couldn't have been happier with her life at that moment.
