The Thunder Chant was an immortal level technique that he obtained from before. It was very strong, and if he learned everything from the technique, then his body would be able to evolve into the Thunder Immortal's body, and it had a high affinity with the thunderbolts here.
Qingfeng Li only practiced the Thunder Chant before to absorb a type of black thunderbolt, and he did not absorb other thunderbolts. For example, the three-colored thunderbolts in the Thunder Valley were much stronger than the pure black thunderbolts that he used to absorb.
If one was to compare the black thunderbolts to a bowl of water, then the three-colored thunderbolt would be a tank of water, they were not at the same level.
