The Wet Domain

It seems we have left the domains of Valker. I know the domains we visit are weird but where the hell are we?

Aren't we in the middle of the ocean?

We are currently swimming and looking around for a place to stand. Currently, we can't locate any signs of land.

[Answer. The user is currently found in the domain of Soril, the wet domain. The waters here are inhabited by water affinity monsters. The number one rule for this dungeon is to not dip into the waters]

Not dip into the waters, huh? Wait, isn't this dungeon mostly water? Then what am I supposed to do?

I have a bad feeling about this place.

Placing my face into the water I can see it's quite dark down there. Using [Ultimate Sight] I'm able to see better but what I'm seeing looks like bad news.

A swarm of something which I presume are fish monsters are approaching us.

They are small fries but can I even fight monsters underwater?

I warn my team.

"Everyone stay on alert. Monsters are approaching us from where I'm facing."

Ren answers. "Here as well."

"I can see something approaching us here too."

I have a bad feeling about this.

I dive down one more time. Sharpening my senses and looking around us, I feel like crying from what I can see. From all directions, fish monsters are coming to our position.

I guess that's why the system mentioned it.

In this state, I can't do much. If I use ice magic, I might freeze everyone here. Obviously, fire is also no good. Shall I use my dark magic perhaps?

"They are coming!" Yells Ren.

I then take a deep breath and dive to meet them.

I use my [Character Division] x 50 to create my clones. I have them go around me to defend our positions. However, there are too many of them. They can slip past through my clones.

Some are coming for me. I wield my sword ready, I try to swing under the water. It is slow but it manages to push some of the fish creatures. It seems my swing is still strong since I can only push a portion of the waters.

Upclose, they look like giant piranhas with needle-like teeth up.

And they are quite scary!

However, they recover quickly after being pushed back. They then open their long teeth and attack.

Using the skill [Infectious Slash!] I slashed the Aqua Strikers in front of me. It gives them infection, causing them to die out and spread it.

However, the Aqua Strikers from behind bites my shoulder, more are coming as well. They are too much for us to handle.

My agility has been hampered since we are underwater.

I then use my [Character Division] to create more of myself. I use them as a shield as they try to get to me. However, we are being swarmed by these creatures that even my clones can't protect me.

Gah! This sucks!

One of my clones close to me got his head bitten off.

I wince seeing it.

Their bites aren't serious for me due to my defense but it still feels painful. There are more of them biting me now and I can't get rid of them all.

On Vermil's side, the Aqua Strikers are getting slashed one by one. Even underwater, she swims quickly and slices the Aqua Strikers in ease.

Even against this many, she slices them down as though they are nothing.

She fights as she does on land. I'm confused why she still has her agility even in water.

I see, how come my sword doesn't have that property?

I see, that's why I'm able to push back the Aquas earlier with my swing.

Regardless, Vermil and Ren are fighting well underwater. As of the moment, I'm just watching them.

Huh? Aren't I useless in this situation?

I have to think of a way to end all of them in one fell swoop. Looking around us there is a never-ending supply of these monsters.

At some point, we will get outnumbered and lose this battle. Though it's quite odd that I don't feel the need to breathe some air despite being underwater for more than a minute.

I see that's why.

However, time is running out. Ren is now being attacked by the Aqua Strikers. He is being surrounded by their swarm and cannot move.

Vermil is still doing her best to battle them. The only thing she can do is to swim away while slashing them. It will only be a matter of time for her.

In my case, the swarms are approaching me. However, I yell with a gurgling noise when an Aqua Striker bites my crotch area.

You damn fish! That's it I'm pissed off.

I will have to use [Absolute Zero] to freeze every fish gathering in this area. After the activation, a magic circle forms around me and starting from my body, in an instant, the waters turn into solid ice.

This will freeze the area of the ocean 300 meters in diameter from me.

With all of us frozen, I can still move my eyeballs and see the Aqua Strikers locked in place. I want to mock them if I can but I have no time for that.

Using my strength, I manage to break the ice and climb up to the surface. It seems Ren manages to climb up as well. "That was too sudden. I didn't expect you to use this type of skill but I think I'm saved."

"I lost my temper. Sorry."

"If you have time to apologize, you better save that sister of yours."

"Uh, yeah." I then hurry and trace where she might be. I then slice a portion of the frozen sea and pull her up.

She then pants and shivers. It seems she is weak against cold. Regardless, I can't let her get weakened since she will be an important asset against the General Monster of this dungeon due to her sustained agility.

I cast fire magic to warm her up. She sighs. "Brother, you don't have to worry about me, I'm fine." She says while shivering.

You're obviously not.

I think I shall give her some armor with cold resistance. I think I got those drops from that cold dungeon.

I then open my [Spatial Inventory] and grab a [Light Icy Dire Wolf Armor]. It has a decent defense, high cold resistance, and even boosts once agility.

I lend it to her. "Vermil, it seems you have some weakness against cold. I have new gear for you."

Her face glows as she receives it. However, when she gazes at me she pouts as though annoyed.

"Eh? Vermil, you don't like it?"

She looks down in shyness and finger points. "Well, brother, I realize you give me so much and I can't even give you anything in return."

"Oh is that it? I'm relieved. I thought you disliked it."

"Of course not."

Vermil nods as though she has decided upon something. "Alright, how about I'll do anything for you, brother?"

"Well, no need for you to do that. It's only natural that I should take care of you."

Vermil smiles after she recalls something. "That's right! Brother, whenever my armors get damaged and I go naked, I can tell that you are pleased seeing my chest. So, how about, I'll let you do anything you want with it."

My lips get sealed after she says it. In an instant, my face blushes in red and I can't help but yell. "Wha-whatt are you saying Vermil?!"

"You mean you are not pleased?"

Well, I can't say I'm not pleased but I still think I should teach her to value her body.

I sigh and hit her head gently. "Vermil, only say that to the person you love. Okay?"

"To the person I love...?"

I nod. I pat her dark blue sky hair. She seems to like it at first, but then when she gazes at me, she blushes afterward. She looks away.

"Huh? Did I say or do something wrong?"

Ren yells at us. "Kid, do that for later. The general monster is here!"

Vermil then hurries and wears it on her.

I then stand up and scan the environment to look for the creature. I found a giant figure underwater with my [Ultimate Sight] skill.

Kraken, huh? Even from the legends of my world.

We then flip over to where we are standing.

Ack!

A giant whirlpool forms where Krakenious shadow is found.

Looking around, the frozen island we are on is being pulled towards Krakenious by heavy water currents.

It is still submerged thus we can't attack it carelessly, but if we don't stop it we will suck us to the bottom of the sea and attack us.

Tsk, these monsters sure have gimmicks one after another.

Ren sinks his sword on the ice so he can stand better. It's difficult to maintain ones balance since we are getting pulled in fast. "Kid, what should we do?"

I sigh scratching my head. I won't be able to hit Krakenious at this state even with a meteor attack since it is found underwater. Most of my skills will just lose momentum if I fire here.

However, an idea arises in my head. I smile.

There is a skill that might cause it to leave the waters.

Using [Character Division] x 1000. I made around a thousand clones and then aim our skill on the waters. At the same time, we use [Poison Shot]. We spam it on the ocean and it is the first thing that is getting sucked into the whirlpool.

The whirlpool slowly turns into the color of the poison. We can hear some rumbling from under the ocean.

I can even see the HP of Krakenious dropping fast.

I think it's working. Regardless, it didn't stop the momentum of the frozen island, thus we enter the whirlpool and are being spun at high speed.

Ah! It feels like I'm being flushed in a giant toilet!

Vermil sinks her daggers on the ice to prevent herself from getting blown off.

Ren is still keeping his cool by holding on to his sword.

Due to our speed, our ice island shatters causing us to fall into the waters.

Luckily, the whirlpool stops. I then swim up to find my comrades. The waters level itself and have now turned calm. It seems Ren and Vermil are fine which I'm relieved.

"Did we do it?" Vermil asks.

"Not yet." Ren answers.

Krakenious roars as it emerges from the waters. It resembles a giant squid though looking sinister, it has so many tentacles that it's so hard to count.

I then smile. I cast an ice skill on the water so we can create a foothold. We then ready our blades and stare at the beast. This time, it will be easier to slay it for ourselves.

"Let's go!"

The three of us then slash it down with our blades.

And just like that, we manage to beat that thing. I wonder what stupid beast will be waiting for us out there?
