Heartless.

She stirs at the mirror, not still used to her new face and life even after 6 years. She looks at those green eyes that is different from her pitch black eyes. Her face,her stature and everything about her looks completely strange to her and now she wonders if she will ever get used to it.

Snapping out of her reverie she finally steps out of the bathroom with a white towel and searches through her wardrobe to find an outfit suited for work. Unlike most people,the search didn't take long and in just 1 minute she picks out a grey pencil skirt and a white top with black stilletoes to match. She only applies lip balm to her sexy lips and and grabs her black bag and heads for work.

This morning at Vere Enterprise was colder than usual because of the Vice CEO. Fiya Falls the newly promoted vice CEO who was once the manager is know as the wicked witch of the west. She was very serious and exceptional at her work and rarely spoke but once she spoke it was either to criticize or make sarcastic comments when someone didn't do their work well or slacks. So no one was sloppy around her or else they might get the tongue of fire.

Tomorrow the CEO is meant to arrive and all departments are meant to submit their annual analysis to be presented to the CEO for the meeting since he only comes once in a while but none of them had even completed it. So in the conference room all departmental heads were sweating buckets even under the Air Conditioner.

Fiya finally spoke and said "Now I understand why Vere is the least company under Veron Groups. I mean with the poor work force,no wonder the CEO never comes here." All the people present were middle aged men and women except for Fiya. "Cat got your tongue?" Still no one dare speak in front of this heartless witch.

"Since no one is willing to talk then you can all resign since there's no difference between people being here and not".

"Madam" The head of the financing department spoke. Fiya didn't look up from the documents she was reading but merely replied"Mm" and the old man in his 50s gulped and continued"If you can give us till the end of today we might be able to finish the reports. "Might?" She questioned and the man cleared his throat and re phrased his words"I mean we will be able to finish them".

The room fell into complete silence before she said"Mr Richards, right?" The man nodded slowly. Finally she looked up and smiled but nothing was warm about the smile and her beautiful eyes were cold as it swept across the room and everyone could feel the chill emitting from her."You didn't complete the reports on time because you wanted to buy extra time to change the figures and make everyone believe that the company was in good shape isn't that right? You took large amount of 15 million on April,6 million in August and 8 million in November and now you want to falsify the figures? How dumb do you think we are?" She said this unhurriedly. Mr Richards broke out in cold sweat and his face was deathly pale and the only thing that was running through his mind was'how did she find out? He was extremely careful and left no traces but she still found out,was she a witch?!'

She smirked and said"how did I find out? That is exactly what you must be thinking. Well you should know that you can fool everyone but me. Don't even bother arguing and just resign because I don't have time to waste and as you can see we have reports to complete". Mr Richards fell to his knees and since he was closer to Fiya he touched her feet and started begging "Please! Madam Falls I have a wife and children and I need this job to provide for them. Please don't fire me,I promise it won't happen again!" He was begging profusely but the only thing Fiya said"You should have thought of that before you stole that large amount". "Miss Falls I was in dire need for the money, I had no choice!" He still persuaded and she said calmly"I also don't have a choice." He continued begging but she turned a deaf ear.

Well the reason for her not answering his pleas was simple; Though Vera is not a large Enterprise and was just a branch under a bigger company their staff were paid handsomely. So embezzling such a huge amount that was meant for projects was just greediness. To others it might be heartless but she knows fully well what she's doing.

When the cries got annoying she just called security and told them she didn't want to see this man ever again in the building. After he was gone she spoke to everyone in the conference room"So.. Would I get the reports before the end of today?" No one wanted to end up like Mr Richards so they all nodded vehemently and a smile formed on her extremely beautiful and white face. "Good. That'll be all". She stood up from her chair which was at the end of the end of the long oval table and walked out with the sound of her stilletoes clicking.

When they couldn't hear the sound of her stilletoes anymore, they all let out their breath which they didn't know they were holding this whole time. In all their long years of living they hadn't seen such a heartless girl before.
