Chapter 7- Vampire Research.

Raina's POV.

It was six days since the CEO left my house after giving me a week off from work.

He never came back, I wondered if he changed his mind and decided to compel me when I'm back to the office on Monday.

I spent six days living in denial about what happened at the Edmondo's and what I found out and knew about my CEO.

It was really overwhelming but what surprised me was how I felt when I was close to him, I was very apprehensive when I found at the Edmondo's were vampires but I felt safe around him, it was like anyone in the world could hurt me but him.

I didn't understand that, i didn't also understand why I missed him greatly and why I've been wanting to see him even if it's for a minute, it was like an ache in my heart.

It hurt everytime I thought of him. 

I turned my door handle to see if it was locked correctly, they were case of bulglary around this street and I didn't want anyone stealing what I've worked hard since I lost my parents.

The bus stop was filled with people as usual, I was determined to struggle my way into the bus, I needed to go to the library, I had questions about Vampires and since I couldn't ask him, and I can't also ask anyone, I decided to research about them with books and the internet using the town's library free WiFi and books.

The beep of the bus made me clutch my sling bag tightly, people who sat at the chairs of the bus stop stood up, people who were already up got ready to move into the bus, I tied my shoelaces again and moved to the area the bus normally stops so I could enter immediately.

The bus stopped and the struggle begin, I entered immediately with the people who stood with me, we picked a good spot, I sat at the second row in the bus close to the window and waited for it to leave after the bus was full.

I got off the bus at the next bus stop, I could see the library from where I stood, it's been long I came to my favourite place, I loved reading, researching, just discovering new information made me happy.

I swiped my library card at the entrance, smiling as I saw a familiar face.

"It's been long Raina" Jerri said softly beaming at me.

"Yeah, I had something to do that's why I came over" I replied waving at him as I entered the library.

I looked though the sections of the library, I was shocked to see a section for vampires and with books filled in it.

I picked the first three books about Vampires I saw, and sat on the floor and started my reading.

Reading about them made me fascinated, if I told people I came to the library to read about vampires, because my CEO and his family were vampires, they would call me crazy, reading these books made me realise some of the news I heard about Vampires while growing up where fake.

I found out that vampires were killed with wooden stakes and it differed depending on the Status of the vampire, and not garlic and the cross as people said. I Discovered a lot about their nature, how they feed, I was shocked that vampires had soul partners ( mates), I always thought werewolves were the only ones with mates.

I finally left the library with a decision, I wasn't going to tell anyone who he is, I was fascinated by what he is.
