Chapter 42 What’s She Like

Darwin looked down and did not reply. He did not know how to answer her question.

He couldn't tell why he didn't want them to meet either. Probably because there was always a voice in his head telling him that if they met, no one knew for sure what would happen next.

He didn't want to believe this voice in his head, but he couldn't help but worry about it. That's why he hadn't told Analia that he was married. Mostly because he wasn't sure if Analia still had feelings for him.

If she had, he did not know how she would react.

"Darwin?" Seeing that Darwin was in a daze, Analia pulled his sleeve. "What are you thinking about?"

"Nothing." Darwin came to his senses and pinched his eyebrows wearily. "Do you really want to see her?"

"Yes." Analia nodded.

Darwin took a swallow and his voice was a little hoarse. "Okay, I'll arrange for you to meet, but it would have to be a short meeting."

"Okay." Analia agreed with a smile.
