Chapter 36 Darwin’s Ex-girlfriend

The next morning, Nicole woke up feeling sore and Darwin was long gone.

She felt empty at first, but then she remembered last night and felt blissful.

Last night, she truly felt the happiness of being a woman.

However, this happiness did not last long before her attention was caught by the folder on the bedside table.

"What is that?" Nicole wondered.

Nicole wrapped herself in the quilt and sat up. She reached out for the folder.

She turned the folder upside down and there was nothing on it. Then she opened the folder.

Nicole took a good look at the document inside and her expression froze.

"Could this be...

"The bone marrow donation consent form?" Nicole thought.

Nicole tightened her hand holding the consent form. Her happiness dissipated and was replaced by a faint sadness.

"He really can't wait, huh?" She mocked herself.

Darwin had asked her to sign the consent form today.
