"It's nothing. I'm just very happy." Nicole stroked the hair around her ear.
Darwin raised his eyebrows. "Happy? What's there to be happy about?"
"Of course it's your choice." Nicole said with a smile, "Do you know? When I learned that Ms. Hays was going to have a second operation, I was always very scared. I was afraid that you would force me to donate bone marrow for her."
"Am I that kind of person in your heart?" Darwin's face darkened unhappily.
Nicole looked down and smiled. "I'm just worried that your feelings for Ms. Hays will make you do such a thing."
"Oh, I'm not that irrational," Darwin snorted with a cold face.
Nicole touched the tip of her nose and said, "I know. I'm just afraid."
But now, she was relieved.
"Okay, go to sleep. I'm going to take a shower." Darwin walked into the bathroom.
Nicole returned to her bed, rubbed her head against the pillow, and fell asleep with a smile.
The next day, Darwin took her to the hospital.
