The Zenix

Although rare, there were some Drachs that were still unknown to the world. An example was the Stage 7 black cat in front of them.

The Drach Dens once in a while would create a new Drach which served a particular purpose such as a new Solix gadget. But they also had some strange unique ability that made them hard to beat.

The Black Cat seemed to have boosted the strength of the Drachs next to it by two Stages which was incredible to say the least. There was no telling what it could do once turned into a gadget or weapon.

  "How 'bout Zenix?" Vanessa pointed at the Black Cat which she had named. The five of them being the first to see one had the right to name it.

"Now's not the time but okay." Arina replied as she, Vanessa, Yuri and Zake were each dealing with a Hyspik while Sila helped them from behind.

"Light Casting: Ray Blast." Arina casted. She herself currently had five Open Gems on her brooch and this was her most offensive spell other than her Halo Fists.

She also made use of the Amplification Spell and made it stronger.

When it reached the Hyspik, the scales on it's body had grown out to resemble spikes and the attack she had thrown had bounced off it.

That was the Hyspik's magical power, a protective scale feature. This made it difficult to hurt it. Only a weapon's blade of the same stage or higher could hurt it and currently, none of them had a weapon on them.

The Hyspik Arina shot then ran towards her and hit her, causing her to jump into the air.

"Light Board." She casted the flat circular platform at the right time and prevented herself from hitting the ground.

Meanwhile, Zake had created the two-tailed red tiger to help against a Hyspik but since the Tiger was only Stage 4, it was quickly losing out to the Hyspik.

"Fire." Zake ordered it and the Tiger shot two orange magic blasts each from it's tails towards the Hyspik but the scales on it's body grew and blocked the attack completely.

The Hyspik then opened it's mouth with it's eyes focused on the Drach Zake had created.

"Wait. What is it doing?"

A blast of silver spikes left the Hyspik's mouth in a large group and hit the Red Tiger.

"Wait, that Stage 7 Drach gave it another magical power?" Zake was shocked.

The spikes easily pierced through the Tiger's skin and dealt enough damage until the Drach completely disappeared and only left magic smoke.

  Yuri shot out shadow beam from his hands but the Hyspik's protective scales prevented it from hurting the Hyspik.

"This obviously isn't working. I'll have to try a different approach. Black Gloves."

Shadows encased Yuri's hand and out from it, dark tentacles were released and grabbed the Hyspike.

"Yes, I got it." Yuri then tried to strangle it but the Hyspik wasn't budging and eventually escaped from the tentacles grasp.

The Hyspik then opened it's mouth and used it's Spike Breath, releasing a large number of spikes towards Yuri's location.

"Repel." An invisible force blasted them towards the sky. When Yuri turned around, he saw Sila giving him a thumbs up.

Meanwhile, Arina was still faced with the Hyspik and she had been seperated from the rest of the team.

"Now I can go all out." Arina had still kept her Seraph powers a secret from the rest of her team apart from Yuri. She felt they could have traced the cause of the war to her and would blame her for being selfish.

Arina pulled her wand out of her Compartment Bag and pulled out her wand.

"Speak it clear, speak it loud. One's too small, make it a crowd." She pointed the wand at herself and created four clones of herself.

"Light Casting: Halo Fists."

All four of her clones had also casted the spell and their fists were glowing with magic.

The Hyspik's expression changed and then it tried to head back towards where they came from and this didn't come unnoticed by Arina.

Arina and her clones cornered the Drach. The Drach in reaction then used it's Spike Breath and destroyed the two clones in front of them.

But the other two and Arina then punched the Drach from behind and knocked it back even further from where it had come from.

"Ah!" Arina ceased the Spell. The Clone Spell strained her mentally as it would split her mind into four parts and also her magic so it was very difficult to use in a fight on her own.

When Arina walked up to the Hyspik, she noticed something. The Hyspik had become smaller in size and the spikes had also shrinked and their hair had become a dim blue again.

When Arina looked at her Power Watch, it read...

  'So that's it. It needs to be close to the Zenix to keep it's boost in strength." Arina thought as she  pointed her two hands towards the Hyspik that was on the ground and looked weak.

"Light Casting: Ray Blast."

Arina used her strongest offensive spell and a large orange blast of magic left her hand and destroyed the Drach, turning it into magic dust and leaving behind a glowing blue spike.

Arina picked it up and put it in her Compartment Bag.

'Now to get back to the others.' She thought.

Meanwhile, the other members of Sun Five hadn't been doing so well. They hadn't defeated a single Hyspik due to it's protective scale ability and they were all running out of Open Gems.

"Drach Casting: Old Beast." A Drach that resembled a large 8 feet purple frog appeared in front of them. It released it's large and long tongue from its mouth and picked them up with them and placed them in it's stomach.

"There, we're safe for now," Zake said, "But not for long, this Drach is only at Stage 4 so it's not gonna last long."

"We need a plan." Yuri said and then he looked towards Sila's anklet and saw it had two unused Open Gems left.

And then he heard something...

"Yuri! Get the Zenix away from the Hyspik. They'll lose their boost." He heard Arina's voice shout from the outside. From the sound of it, she was very tired and barely standing. He also heard the sound of spikes being launched and hitting the Frog like Drach.

"Sila! You're the only one who can do it. With your Force Casting, you can blast the Zenix away from the Hyspik." Yuri told her while grabbing both of her shoulders.

"No, I can't. Even if I get the Zenix away, the Hyspik will try to get back to it and then.. then.." Sila began to stutter, feeling useless.

But Vanessa used both her hands to hold Sila's hands.

"Sila. You're capable of doing amazing things. You remember how you helped Arina against Felix. Well now we need your help again."

"Your abilities aren't limited to repulsion and attraction. If you're the Force Caster then you should be able to control the forces."

"So come on Sila! Bring your Casting freak out." Vanessa gave her a pep talked and it seemed it had worked. Sila's eyes were glowing with determination and then, one of her Gems opened.

Sila jumped out of the Frog's mouth and soon after, the Hyspiks ran towards her.

"Force Casting:..."

Sila ran up to the three Hyspiks with no fear and just when she was about to get in contact, she said two words.

"Earth Bound."

A green aura radiated off her palms and then she touched the ground and the Hyspiks looked to have been stuck. They weren't moving from the ground and were currently on the floor but it wasn't going to last long so Sila acted fast.

She ran towards the Zenix which seemed to have not been moving.

"Repel."

*Bang

A thunderous sound left her hands and the Zenix was blasted several feet into the air.

"Now's my time to strike." Arina and Yuri both unconsciously said as they jumped into the air.

"Light Casting: Ray Blast."

"Shadow Casting: Black Spear."

The orange blast and the Black Spear went straight forward and striked down the Zenix and a large explosion was seen.

"Yes." Arina and Yuri said weakly as two diamond gems dropped down from the destroyed Zenix.

Sila touched the two gems and instantly felt a boost in power as her eyes glowed green.

She looked towards the direction of the Hyspiks that were now back to Stage 4 and another Open Gem appeared.

"Force Casting: Disrupt."

A force that could only be described as total gravity against zero gravity was felt in the Hyspiks and they started to move rampantly up and down. Falling down and getting up until the force became too much and they were destroyed, leaving three blue spikes.

Then the effects of the Valuable Item ran out.

Sila was about to pick them up when Arina and Vanessa ran up to her with the little strength they had left and gave her a big hug. Zake and Yuri also walked up to her, both smiling a bit.

"We knew you could do it." The Light and Luck Caster both said.

"Thank you guys. Thanks for not giving up on me." The Force Caster smiled with tears of joys in her eyes.
