The next day an article was released in the gossip section without mentioning the names,

'It is said that the daughter in law of the famous W family is cheating on her husband Mr. W and rumors are afloat regarding her pregnancy and this has caused a rift in the family'

Below that, there was a picture of Wang Yu angrily dragging Li Zi Yun out from the party and another blurred picture of the backside of a man and woman. The backside of the woman looked similar to Li Zi Yun's and the man was holding the woman's waist.

Assistant Liu Guang had taken down the article but it kept popping out in different sites and they were losing their minds. He knew that Wang Yu would kill him if he did not stop it. With trembling hands, he sent a text to Wang Yu about the article along with an update about their progress in taking it down.

As soon as Wang Yu woke up he saw a message, which he was sure was sent from a burner phone,

'I told you there will be consequences.'

Wang Yu wanted to chop the person who dared to threaten him into pieces. When he saw Assistant Liu Guang's message after that, his anger was at the peak,

Wang Yu was screaming in the phone enough to wake up the entire house, "Are you guys that useless that you can't even find who this number belongs to"

Wang Yu did not want to go to office, but he had to go. He often worked from home after marrying Li Zi Yun but he knew that he also had to care of the business. As long as Li Zi Yun stayed at home, she was safe. He decided to leave to office only after making Li Zi Yun to promise him that she would not leave the house in any situation.

Wang Yu was getting ready to leave to office when suddenly he heard a scream from inside the bathroom where Li Zi Yun was showering. He rushed to the bathroom and found Li Zi Yun sitting on the floor holding onto the wall for support with water dripping over her body.

Wang Yu opened the door and yelled, "Baby what's wrong?"

Getting no reply, he entered the bathroom and saw that Li Zi Yun was still in the middle of showering and that is when Wang Yu finally saw the blood.

Wang Yu immediately rushed to Li Zi Yun, "What Happened?"

Li Zi Yun's voice was almost a whisper, "Take me to the doctor"

She kept repeating, "I'm I'm bleeding" as if she could not believe what was happening.

Wang Yu did not let the maids inside the room and Li Zi Yun was almost in a daze trying hard to control her tears from falling down. The hour passed by in a blur as Wang Yu helped Li Zi Yun to dress up and carried her to the car. Li Zi Yun was literally panicking. Wang Yu held her close to his body and he could her tensed body almost shivering near him. All kinds of negative thoughts were running in her mind and during the entire car ride, she was crying nonstop.

Li Zi Yun could not stop thinking, 'What if something happens to my baby?'

'What will I do if there is a miscarriage?'

The doctors were waiting for the couple to arrive and as soon as Wang Yu brought Li Zi Yun in, she was taken to the room for check up.

Wang Yu was waiting outside impatiently. He could not think about anything right now other than his wife Li Zi Yun.

At last after half an hour the doctors came out along with Li Zi Yun. She looked relieved and gave Wang Yu a small smile.

The doctor explained to Wang Yu, "High stress can cause bleeding. There is nothing to worry about for now. But make sure Mrs. Wang isn't stressed or sad or depressed, she should be having only positive thoughts now. Pregnant woman should be happy during these times and make sure they don't get stressed"

Wang Yu pulled Li Zi Yun close and pressed his lips to her forehead, "I'm sorry"

The doctor continued, "Especially stressful news…"

Wang Yu glared at the doctor to shut up. Wang Yu had made sure that Li Zi Yun was not aware of the news. Wang Yu had found out that Zheng Nan was a mafia don from the south and he was a dangerous man. After Li Zi Yun's mother died, he had not been much active but still his name caused fear among people who really knew him.

"I was not expecting you," Wang Yu said as he sat down.

Even Zheng Nan had not expected this, "I did not think I would here either"

They sat opposite to each other without saying a word.

After sometime Zheng Nan asked Wang Yu, "Can I see her?"

"She's asleep."

Zheng Nan was lost in thought as he said, "Someone killed LingLing (Li Zi Yun's mother) because I did not protect her. I will not repeat the same mistake"

Wang Yu did not say a word and his face was calm with no reaction.

Zheng Nan got up to leave and before leaving he said, "Don't hesitate to ask me for any help. For her daughter I would do anything" and left without a backward glance. Wang Yu saw that he had left a card behind with his number on it.
