Chapter Seventy-Three

Sarah POV

Am so happy right now this is one of the best Christmas so far in my life,Boss attitude towards me is making it difficult to control my feelings for him. He is so kind and cute my heart break a little when he told me that the ticket he gave me is a form of appreciation for not betraying him.

But I quickly talked myself out of the disappointment cause I don't see any reason to be disappointed the last time I checked he is my boss and the only relationship I will have with him will be work related. The ice skating was fun filled having my hand under my boss arm is the best feeling ever,when we left the ice skating rink is already 9:30 PM that means that we spent one hour thirty minutes inside there.

Boss took me back to his mother mansion when we got there few people are left and the pretty lady is nowhere to be seen. I quickly packed my gifts and turned to leave when my boss halted my movement and helped me to carry some of the gift,he practically carried everything. He headed towards his car I was wondering why he is going to his car he turned around when he noticed that I stopped walking. When he noticed the confusion on my face, Sarah get inside the car I want to take you home myself to make sure you are safe and also am the reason you are leaving this late so is reasonable if I drive you home he explained.

Okay no problem I answered him,I entered inside his car. He asked me to key in my address into the GPS I did as instructed when the address finished loading he drove me to my humble abode.

I got home and standing in front of our house is my mother and my best friend my mother having that worried look on her face and Ella have that mischievous smile on her face. When my mother saw me coming out of the car she gave a sigh of relief but quickly frowned her face when she saw Boss alighted from the car.

My boss helped me to carry the gifts again,the mischievous smile on Ella face intensified the moment she saw my boss with those items on his hands. My mother have that confusion look on her face I know by now she is already wondering who the man is. To save myself from any embarrassing questions I quickly introduced my boss to my mother.

Mum Good evening I greeted her ,we exchanged greetings and my boss greeted her too she answered with that look of confusion. Mom meet my boss,Boss this is my mother I introduced them. My mother look so relieved now,Hi ma my name is George Vincent my boss introduced himself with his full name. Wow I thought for a second he is your boyfriend my mother blurted out. This very moment I want the ground to open and swallow me up cause of what my mother just uttered now of all the things to say.
