Chapter Four Hundred and Five

Laura POV

After Sarah left, I sat down and gave all that she said to me a deep thought and I know that she is right, I need to give him a chance. He is giving me every sign that he want to take our relationship to another level but I kept on ignoring it. I know that I can't ignore him forever, I love him and there is no doubt he is a good man but this fear in my heart always stop me from going all the way with him. Truly it's lonely being on my own but I was afraid that if I stay with him all the time, I will be longing to be with him forever, but not anymore I need to face my fear, wherever it takes me I will see it. Now the problem is how am going to get to his place, I turned down his offer to get me a care, Yeah, am that woman with a lot of pride.

I decided to call him to come and pick me up, he was surprised when I called, he did not waste any time to accept to come over to my place. I entered my room to change my clothes and look presentable, Twenty minutes after he arrived and I can see the happiness beaming in his eyes. He quickly hugged me tightly. Am so happy that you called, I was so lonely at home, he said smiling at me. Same here, so where do you want us to go to? I asked him. You are the one that called me, so you should tell me, he said. The truth is I don't have any plan, all I know is that I want to spend the day with you, I told him. Okay, if you say so let's look for a restaurant to eat and after that we will come back here and have a movie marathon, he suggested.

Sounds like a plan to me, yes let's do that, I agreed with his suggestion, is not like I have a better suggestion. We left and headed to a Chinese restaurant cause am craving for Chinese food and he don't seem to have any problem with it. We have a nice meal and head back home to have the movie marathon, this seem like my days when I was still a teenager, he always make me to feel like I can be anything I want to be. We arrived back and sat down to select movies, I left the task of selecting suitable movie to him while I went to the kitchen to grab some snacks. I came back with the snacks and sat beside him, handing one of the chips to him, I can't get my hands on any popcorn.

I was so into the movie when I felt someone looking at me more like staring at me. I looked at him, silently asking him what? You are so beautiful Laura, I love every seconds I spent with you and I want to continue spending time with you, He said. My heart is beating so fast, is he about to propose to me, I mused. He just lean in and peck my lips then focus on the movie.
