George POV

I was in full panic mode when I saw Anna pointing a gun at Sarah but miraculously Victor saved the day, I owe him for saving my wife. Anna was carried out of the house while still unconscious, I rushed to Sarah, and she stood there looking at the unconscious Steve. I pulled her into a hug that is when she started crying on my shoulder, I know the whole experience will be overwhelming for her. The police came back and carry Steve out as well, I guess they will be heading to the hospital since he was shot. Victor stood there with tears in his eyes, I know that despite all that his father did he still love him and I hope that he will survive this cause he is the only parent Victor has known all his life. I returned my attention to the crying Sarah in my arms, Aunty Rose and Max has already reached us.

Are you okay? Aunty Rose asked Sarah. Sarah wiped her tears and answered her. Yes, I am okay but Anna forced me to take two drugs, according to her it will ripen my cervix and induce labour, Sarah told her. That got me worried, I turned to Aunty Rose to know if there is anything we can do for Sarah. What should we do now? I mean the drugs she forced my wife to take, I asked her, since she is the older lady here. Since she gave you the drugs are you feeling anything? Aunty Rose asked Sarah. No, I don't feel anything different, Sarah told her. That was able to calm me down a little bit. Well, that is expected, this is your first pregnancy, so you will not respond to the drugs immediately, it will take some hours or even days before your labour will start, Aunty Rose explained.

Okay, let's take you home so that you can eat and rest and also your mother can stop crying and my mother too, I told her while smiling. When I released her from my arms, Max hugged her. Am happy that you are sound and safe, at least Ella will not go on a blood spree cause she is ready to kill somebody, Max said to her while smiling. Aunty Rose also hugged her, Fred patted her on the shoulder, and Sarah turned around and hugged Victor. Thank you so much for saving me, she said to him. Of course, I must save the only sister-in-law I have, Victor said to her trying to smile but I can see the pain behind his smile. Bro, I promise that I will do everything possible to save your father's life, I said to him cause I figured that is what he cares about now.

That will be fine by me, I don't mind if he will spend the rest of his life in prison, so long he is alive I am okay and am not expecting him not to get punished after all that he did, Victor said. We all left the place leaving the cleaners Aunty Rose hired to clean up the mess that is left behind. Aunty Rose asked me to keep a close eye on Sarah and she should avoid anything that will stress her cause her labour can kick in at any moment, I insisted on taking her to the hospital so that she will have bed rest and if her labour starts there will be no need to take her to the hospital again. That is why we are on our way to the hospital, I already called my mother and break the good news to her, she and Sarah's mother are on their way to the hospital, Ella and Josh are also on their way cause they have been informed as well.
