Chapter Forty Four

George POV

 I overheard Sarah and Rose discussed about Christmas party and decoration, I know my workers want to do all this but they can't because am the one who banned them from celebrating and decorating the company that's why my mother insisted on hosting a party for them at her place every Christmas eve. 

Seemed like Sarah want the company to be decorated and since that's what she wanted that is what we are going to do. I got a call from one of the investors that he wanted to see what I can offer so that he will know whether to get into business with me or not and I intended to go alone but I decided to go with Sarah so that after the meeting she can go and buy all that she needed for the decoration.

I called Sarah and informed her to meet me in the parking lot in five minutes. I decided to drive my car my self cause I don't need a third party again,Immediately she arrived and entered inside the car I drove off because it's a thirty minutes ride and I have Forty- five minutes left before the scheduled time.

Luckily the meeting went well ,we are on our way to the company and I don't know how to bring up the Christmas decoration topic. I decided to ask her if she had anywhere in mind that she want to go to, she kept quiet for some minutes I know she was contemplating whether to tell me what's on her mind or not judging from the way she was fidgeting with her fingers.

She later summoned courage to tell me what's on her mind and luckily it is the same thing I want to discussed with her,I asked her if she know where to get what she needed for the decoration, I can clearly see the surprise in face,she said yes after getting over her initial shock. I asked her to put in the address in my GPS and she did I drove off to the store.

We reached our destination we stepped out of the car and walked inside the store,the doorman welcomed us ,welcome to Santa' ville! I looked around the store and I must confess this store have everything one needed for Christmas whether is for decoration or for gifts, I made a mental note to come back and get gifts for my mother, my friend and of course Sarah.

Forty minutes later Sarah had got everything she needed and I paid for them although we have little argument on who is going to pay for the goods,Sarah insisting on paying for what she purchased but at the end of the day I won. One of the attributes that made her different from Anna and other girls I have known in the past.

She is so happy with all the things we bought,we are not able to carry all of the items so I paid for their delivery van to delivered it to the company. I decided to drive us around while I am indirectly killing time so that it will be too late and it will be only two of us that will remained in the company when we start decorating.
