Rebecca lay on her bed, exhausted. She really needed a lot of rest. She took a glance at the alarm clock beside her bed. It was 12.00am
Earlier, she had gone to see her aunt, whom she hadn't seen in a while.
Gosh, she just inherited a family heirloom from her aunt. Such a valued possession!
Then on her way from her aunt's, Courtney called to remind her of her meeting with KE's boss tomorrow at 9am. Gosh, she almost forgot. She's been so overwhelmed with everything lately, so her forgetfulness is understandable.
Courtney also mentioned the presence of a time error she observed while reading her script.
hmmmn, she's really got to focus more on this job. She should leave no room for errors.
What's her PA's job anyway? She's to notice those errors and ensure that adequate corrections are made. Courtney is really doing a good job.
she thought about Raymond. She knew she made the right decision leaving him. They have only dated for a few months and he had done that already.
' what guts' she thought
she just hoped he faced his life and moved ahead.
Then her mind drifted to him again, the guy she had seen the other day.
There is something about this guy and that seems to awe her.
Why does her mind drift towards him more often than usual, she wondered.
She could still picture his physique properly, like she just met him some minutes ago.
He was tall, and his black hair which swept back away from his face, was completely mesmerizing. His turquoise blue eyes could sweep any lady off her feet
He had a strong, defined and masculine jawline. He was the exact definition of perfection.
In her existence, she had never been so drawn to any man this way. She looked forward to seeing him again, though doubted if that was possible.
If they were ever meant to know each other, they'd surely meet someday, she assured herself.
Her stomach growled, she was hungry. 'But I had eaten dinner earlier, why am I feeling hungry?' she thought
She got out of bed and walked towards the kitchen. She opened the fridge and took out a bottle of yoghurt.
' this will do' she said to herself.
She turned the content into a glass and gulped it down.
She didn't want to wake anyone up, so she quietly did what she wanted to and went back to her room

Kol lay on his bed, he was finding it a bit difficult to sleep. He rolled to the other side of the bed to take a look at the alarm clock. The time was past 1.00am
If only Trish didn't spoil his mood with the unnecessary call she made to him last night, then he'd have been able to stay up for an extra hour
He has always been an ardent reader and researcher, an emperor of the business world.
He had formed that as a habit, it was now a daily routine - reading, research and then going to bed by 2.00am. Indeed, great men do not sleep when others are sleeping.
Tiffany and Amy had long retired to their rooms, they should be fast asleep by now
Kol got out of bed and walked out of his room. He walked down the stairs and went towards the bar. Everyone was asleep, so the house was a bit quiet
The security operatives were outside the house, as vigilant as ever doing their jobs
He got a bottle of alcoholic wine and a wine glass from the bar, strode towards the sitting room and placed them on the table.
He sighed sitting on the couch. He was exhausted and most importantly, can't think straight.
Why does Trish have this effect on him, he was wondering. And surprisingly, it's different from then, it's that of hate and not love, it's that of disgust and not delight.
He needed to calm down. He poured some wine into the cup and took a sip. A groan escaped his lips.
He took the remote control and turned on the television. It was a music channel, so he changed it, this time a movie popped up. he could recall watching this movie when he was younger Tiffany made him watch it with her. The name of the movie is 'Notebook'. It is a love story.
He took a minute to reflect on his love life. He had only dated once, and that lady was Trish. And since she left him about a year ago, he had not dated any other. Well, that is the Kol McClain Tiffany always admires. He was highly responsible, just as he was groomed by their parents.
He wasn't a girl freak, though he had his own fair share of girls
He doesn't still really understand why the girls he ever chose to get close to always had selfish intensions. They never really loved him.
And it hurts him that the one person he really took extremely serious, the one person he finally chose to date turned out to be a cheat who never loved him.
Then, his mind drifted off to the lady whom he met the other day. He scoffed and rubbed his forehead. He doesn't even know her name.
And all of a sudden, as though he had taken medicine, his aching heart immediately became calm. He felt this peace of mind each time he thought of her.
' is my heart trying to tell me something?' he thought to himself.
If barely thinking about her could bring him peace of mind, how about when she's finally his; then he'd have so much peace, no worries.
' God... What am I even thinking? Is that even possible?' he thought.
Then all of a sudden he smiled, he just got a brilliant idea I guess. What could Kol McClain not figure out? He was the genius of our time
He picked up his phone, wanting to place a call to David, then he stopped midway. It will be pretty weird to call David this late all because he wanted to track a lady.
Besides there are so many pressing matters on ground that needed to be handled as matter of urgency.
He sighed relaxing his head on the couch, didn't know when he fell asleep.
Please don't forget to give me your power stones. It's a motivation to me. Love you all💋💋💋❤️❤️
