"No!" She almost blurted out. After a pause, she said, "I'll wash up first. You pack up. We'll stay in the countryside for a few days."

I was surprised. "Why are we going to the countryside again? We just came to Grury!"

"Dylan should be back in Flasmond. If you don't want to see him in Flasmond, you can sort things out." She didn't look very good and said feebly, "Lacey, I don't want to have anything to do with these people anymore. Now that you have left the Thomson company, if you can't bear to part with Dylan, you can go back and live a good life with him. If you can let go of him, we can go together and stay far away from them, okay?"
