My Demon

“Damian, do you have an Instagram account?” I asked him a few days later as we were in his study, busy with our own emails.

Of course, I knew what his Instagram account was as I had seen the content, but I wanted to know if he would let me know.

He glanced at me and told me his username before resuming checking his emails.

“Can I follow your account?” I asked him.

“Of course, Baby girl,” he replied without taking his eyes off his laptop screen.

I typed in his username and saw that he had added more pictures of us together. The newest was a closeup picture of our fingers linked together, showing the matching rings we wore on our ring fingers.

“Damian, when did you take the newest picture?” I asked him, curious.

“When you were sleeping,” he answered briskly while typing on his laptop.

“People might think we are already married if they see that picture. The rings looked like wedding bands,” I pointed out and giggled.
