Before I could think of a reply, he leaves, shutting the door behind him.

You are not what I expected. His words echo in my head, making me feel truly ashamed of myself for the first time in my life.

'He thinks we are weak,' My Wolf roars, and my shoulders slump in defeat.

'That's because we are.' I say and shut him out.
