*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*

Christopher got up from his bed, already fully dressed as he had worn casual clothes for the day.

He went and opened the door and saw Titus waiting.

"Good morning, Sir Christopher." Titus said with a smile.

"Morning to you too Titus. What brings you here?" Christopher asked knowing fully well why Titus was here.

"Father told me to come and give you your rewards. He also told me to tell you that your rewards were doubled as a show of goodwill and that I was to follow you for the day." Christopher tilted his head.

"Follow me? I was about to leave though." He said and Titus smiled.

"That's another thing. Father said that you can stay here for as long as you would like." Christopher blinked.

'Seems like he's trying to befriend me. Well, I'm not going to complain.' Christopher thought and nodded.

"Alright, send him my thanks." Titus nodded as well.

"Can I come in?" Titus then asked.

"Sure." Christopher made way for him and the boy walked inside. He then closed the door.

Titus then went over to the bed and his spatial ring flashed before a nice looking black box, and two unique eggs appeared.

"The box contains two hundred stellar coins, and the two eggs can hatch beasts that have general rank potential." Titus explained.

Christopher opened the box and saw it was full of very beautiful coins that were gold and blue. The blue lined the edges and there was a blue star in their center, and the rest of it was a very nice gold.

'Stellar coins are the highest form on Currency in the Empire, with one being the equivalent of a thousand gold coins.' Christopher thought as he recalled the memories of the body's original owner.

The lowest form of currency was bronze. And then there was silver. A single silver coin was worth a hundred bronze coins and a commoner family usually earned only one or two every few months. Then there were gold coins worth a hundred silver coins. Those were things only somewhat well off commoner families had one or two of and nobility had them in abundance.

And stellar coins, a single one was worth a thousand gold coins.

'And I now have two hundred. So that's two hundred thousand gold coins.' Christopher used all his self control to stop a smile from surfacing.

Instead, he merely nodded and then turned his attention to the eggs.

One of them was black and the other was white.

"These were collected after killing a leader ranked beast." Titus explained.

"Oh, so they're basically twins." He nodded and looked at their status.

Christopher's eyes widened.

"This is good stuff!" He said with visible excitement.

"I'm glad that sir is satisfied." Titus said with a genuine smile.

Christopher nodded and transported everything into his dimension.

"Right, so I can request for two more things at the same rank as those two right?" He asked and Titus nodded.

"Alright." Christopher had thought about it the previous night and already knew what he wanted.

"I want a high ranking magic spell book as well as a high ranking sword technique book." He stated.

Titus nodded and didn't find the request strange, in fact, he'd been expecting something like this.

'Talented or not, being able to get his hands on high ranking techniques will be very difficult as he isn't affiliated with any force, and all those high ranking techniques are usually sold in bids where only special groups can participate.' He thought.

"Okay. I actually have a catalog for this. So please wait." Titus said and his spatial ring shone again.

This time, numerous books appeared on the bed.

"The ones on the right are for magic and the ones on the left are for different sword techniques and styles." He explained.

Christopher nodded and began looking through all of them.

All of them were nice, but after a while, but in the end, he focused on a specific two.

<Advanced Tome of Magic: A book containing numerous spells for different elements. From basic all the way to befitting those at Blue Rank.>

<Advanced Sword Practitioner Manual: A book containing numerous sword styles and techniques. From basic ones all the way to techniques befitting Blue Rank.>

"I'll take these two." Christopher said and Titus nodded.

"Good choices." He said as Christopher stored the two of them.

"Anyway, I was thinking, do you guys have a sort of training area? One preferably strong enough to withstand attacks at the Blue Rank." He asked.

Titus heard this and his eyes gleamed.

"You intend to train sir?" He asked and Christopher nodded.

Meanwhile.

<Enhancement Complete. Advanced Tome of Magic has been enhanced into the Manuscript The Arcane Lord.>

<Enhancement Complete. Advanced Sword Practitioner Manual has been enhanced into the Ultimate Blade Works Manual.>

<Notification, Master can directly absorb the knowledge in these two books and comprehend all their contents.> The last notification nearly caused Christopher to grin.

'Perfect, proceed.' He said.

A moment later, torrents of information swarmed into Christopher's brain causing him to pause.

"Sir Christopher?" Titus noticed and stopped to look at him in confusion.

However, Christopher didn't reply as his eyes were closed, digesting all the new information.

It was only after a minute when he opened his eyes and looked at Titus.

"Sorry about that. I won't elaborate, but just know that it's nothing serious." He said and Titus nodded.

'Is it just me, or does he seem different from before.' He thought.

Christopher suddenly had an oppressive feel about him, and his gaze seemed sharp like real blades.

'This must be how his mind is when he wants to train. Scary.' Titus shuddered before he continued to walk.

"Here we are." Titus said while gesturing to the large room in the castle that was actually very massive, covering about a kilometer square.

"Spatial magic huh?" Christopher noted as there was no way this place would be in the castle and he wouldn't see it protruding from outside.

"That's right. This place is a training room for me and my family. However, I'm too weak to use it while the others are too strong." Titus explained.

"Hm. Alright, this should suffice." Christopher said and walked deeper into the room.

'Let's start with something basic.' He said and raised his hand.

Titus watched eagerly as he could feel the Mana in the surroundings beginning to move.

Then, a moment later, a dark orange ball of flames formed in front of Christopher's palm.

'A fireball, why would he…'' Titus' train of thought was interrupted as in front of his eyes, the fireball began to change color.

From orange, to red, then green, then pink. And with each change, the temperature spiked each time, and by the time it was pink, Titus found himself retreating as the waves of intense heat caused his skin to turn red.

'What is this temperature?' He shouted inwardly as he managed to mobilize his Mana to create a wind barrier around himself, and even then, it was just barely fending off the heat.

And Christopher was still not finished, as in the next moment, the flames turned a pure white color.

SCREEEEECH

A high pitched sound rang through the air as space started to warp.

'Interesting.' Christopher thought completely unaffected by the heat.

He watched as the ball of fire shimmered white while swirling above his palm.

'So this is what the system meant by me being able to explode with the force of a nuke if I could use magic.' He thought and let a smile out.

He then turned towards Titus and his eyes nearly popped out when he saw the boy struggling against the intense heat waves that threatened to swallow him, the wind barrier he created showing signs of heavy damage.

'Oof, my fault.' He thought and with a thought, the ball of white flames disappeared and the temperature went back to normal.

"Gasp!" Titus fell on his knees as he sucked in big gulps of air.

"Are you alright?" Christopher asked and helped the boy up.

"I… fine." Titus took a couple more deep breaths before looking at Christopher again. Though, the look in his eyes was different.

"Sir. I had no idea you were so strong!" He said with newfound respect and awe.

'He doesn't seem fazed that he almost died.' Christopher thought with amusement.

"You don't know a lot of things about me." Christopher said with a smile.

"But sir, what was that flame? I've only ever seen a pink flame." Titus asked.

"How familiar are you with the spectrum and X-rays?" Christopher asked and Titus stared at him blankly.

"Spectrum? X-rays?" He repeated.

"Yeah, I thought so. Basically the hotter the flames, the more they interact with light. The white you saw just now was among the hotter flames." Christopher said.

"Woah. Then what's the color that represents the hottest flame?" Titus asked.

"Oh? Well, the color is blue. And higher than that, well, it's a different shade of blue, and at that point, no one knows what lies beyond that as that's the limit our eyes can capture." He explained.

"Wow. You're very knowledgeable." Titus said in admiration.

'That's what years of surfing the internet gets you.' He thought.

"Ah right. Sir." Titus suddenly said.

"Hm?"

"Can I see you practice your sword?" He said with anticipation.

"No." However, Christopher turned him down without hesitation.

"Wh- Why not?" Titus asked, visibly disappointed.

"You will die." Titus flinched.

"Y- You mean?" Christopher nodded.

"Exactly what I said. The way you could barely keep yourself up just from facing the temperature of my flames. If you're here when I bring out my sword, you will most likely due just from its aura." Christopher wasn't lying. At least, he didn't think he was.

The fact that the system itself told him that using the Crimson Destroyer would cause the Dimension to collapse, and Silver who was a leader ranked beast was wary of the weapon despite it not even doing anything, showed just how devastating it was.

'I can't take any risks. Who knows what will happen if I accidentally kill one of the children of the Darius family?' He thought and shook his head.

"Oh." Then Christopher blinked, and his gaze became determined.

"Master. Will you be my teacher?" Christopher was genuinely caught off guard by this.

"Huh?"
