/"I am sorry, sir. I failed you… We just reached home and found all the lights were out. Guards were checking upon the damage when Akira asked me to help them. I made sure she goes inside first and after a few minutes, we heard gunshots and screaming from the mansion. I am so sorry, sir, I was too late to take the situation under control./" He confessed, blinking the tears away.
The doors of the ICU opened and the doctor came out.
/"How is she, doctor?/" Vikram was the first to ask. The old doctor sighed and removed his mask.
/"We have taken out the bullet and are trying to reach the best surgeons in Delhi. Akira’s condition is falling. She has lost too much blood as the bullet damaged cardiac tissues. We are afraid that she could go in an arrest if not taken care of asap./" He muttered and Vikram’s forehead creased.
