Shisui's pov

As I confront Itachi, the weight of his sorrow and despair presses heavily upon me, even through the veil of my blindness. Despite the encroaching darkness that now defines my world, I recognize the necessity of this sacrifice. Itachi's suffering, though profound, is not without purpose. It is a crucial step toward the awakening of his Mangekyou Sharingan. With this formidable power, he will gain the strength required to safeguard our village and preserve the honor of our clan. A melancholic smile curves my lips as I address him, my voice steady and imbued with an unwavering belief. "I have faith in you, Itachi. You will protect the village and uphold the clan's honor. You will rise to become a great ninja." With those final words, I surrender myself to the abyss, letting the precipice claim me as I fall from the cliff.

Takakki Village, Land of Fire

A cloaked figure makes their way to the unassuming inn nestled in the heart of Takakki Village. The cloak drapes over their form, concealing their identity beneath a shroud of darkness. Upon entering the inn, the figure requests a room and completes the transaction with a clinical efficiency. The figure proceeds to their assigned room with deliberate, measured steps. Before entering, they pause to scan their surroundings, confirming their privacy, and then shut the door with a quiet, deliberate click. The cloak remains in place as they methodically move through the room, closing each window with meticulous care to ensure absolute seclusion. Only once they are satisfied with the room's privacy does the figure remove the cloak, revealing a boy of about fifteen or sixteen years old. His long black hair frames a face that is strikingly devoid of eyes—anyone from the Five Great Ninja Villages would immediately recognize him as Shisui, the teleporter who had mysteriously disappeared a month ago.

Shisui's POV

As I shed my cloak and collapse onto the bed, I stare blankly at the ceiling, grappling with the oppressive darkness that now defines my existence. It has been a month since Danzo's treacherous attempt to seize my eyes; he succeeded in taking one, while I relinquished the other to Itachi. The realization that my efforts to mediate between the village and the clan have reached their limits has led me to transfer this immense burden to Itachi. A wistful smile forms as I recall him; he has always been more than a comrade to me—he is a younger brother, my closest friend. I trust that with the Mangekyou Sharingan I passed to him, he will achieve what I could not. However, the very thought of Danzo exploiting the Sharingan ignites a deep and unquenchable rage within me. I cannot, and will not, allow this egregious act to go unanswered.

The use of the Sharingan, with its debilitating side effects, remains the domain of the Uchiha clan. Despite my blindness, I am resolute in my quest to uncover every dark secret Danzo holds. My combat capabilities, due to absence of my sight, have been notably decreased ,my rank has surged from jonin to chunin. Though I can still wield Susanoo, its use is constrained by my Chakra reserves, and I cannot yet fully harness its power with my injuries.

I am determined to continue protect the village from the shadows, but for now I plan to leave the Land of Fire. Here, too many might recognize my Chakra signature. My injuries demand at least four months to heal completely.

After a period of rest, I decide to seek nourishment. Donning my cloak once again, I open the door and listen intently to the murmurs outside. The sounds indicate the presence of civilians. Moving silently in the opposite direction, I am drawn back by fragments of conversation about the Uchiha. My curiosity, relentless and insistent, compels me to investigate. I follow their voices, moving cautiously behind them.

Approaching from behind, I clear my throat softly and call out, my voice tinged with the weight of my burdens and the urgency of the moment.
