Chapter 2

Sasuke woke up feeling great only to find an old man looking at him with worried gaze.

Sasuke was startled and shot up from his bed. He was going for an attack but stopped because he recovered the old man now. He was the damn 3rd Hokage.

The old man was wearing long white red robes and had a tired look on his wrinkled face. He smiled when saw the energetic Sasuke.

" Old man, why aren't you doing your work? I'm fine now so there is no need to worry about me. "

Sasuke sighed in relief and sat on the bed.

Hokage cleared his throat and his worry vanished from his face.

" Its good that you are fine Sasuke kun. Do you remember what happened before you lost consciousness ?"

Sasuke frowned and his gaze became sharp.

" I remember old man. How can I forget my brother and his vicious acts? You dont have to comfort me because I am fine and already have a goal for future. "

Hokage sighed heavily and looked guilty.

" I won't ask about your goal because I can guess it from your expression Sasuke kun. Just promise me that you wont do something reckless before you have become strong enough to protect yourself in future.."

Sasuke clenched his fist while inwardly thinking that it was really tiring to act like a kid filled with vengeance.

" I promise you old man but on one condition."

Hokage rose his eyebrow as he felt that Sasuke's demeanor had changed a lot after waking up.

" What condition ? "

Sasuke stood up and started chaning into his blue t shirt.

" I will train myself for few months now so I wont be able to attend academy classes. I will visit you later when I feel I am ready. Then I want to graduate early and join anbu."

Hokage was stunned because he did not expect such determination from Sasuke who was still a kid in his opinion. He thought that Sasuke really needed some time to sort his feelings. Hokage did not want him to step on the path of no return.

" I agree to your conditions but you will have to promise that you will visit me at my office at least once a week."

Sasuke thought that Hokage must be worried that he would break his own body by overwork

. He snickered inwardly because Saauke knew that he will never do something which will harm him unless it's an emergency. After all he did not want to die soon again.

" I promise old man. I can tell that you have not taken my decision to join anbu seriously but I will just say right now that I will definitely become strong enough to surprise you. See you later Hokage jiji.."

Sasuke smiled for a second before returning to his cold and indifferent look again. He left the room and Hokage alone who seemed to be lost in thoughts after hearing Sasuke's confident words.

After leaving the hospital, Sasuke headed directly towards the Uchiha clan compound ignoring the gazes of pity which the crowd was giving him. To him they were just free people who had nothing else to do other than whispering behind his back.

While walking, he also started thinking about his training schedule. It was necessary to have some plans for more efficiency.

" System, show my STATUS. "

He decided to check his STATUS and see where his current strength lies.

He could guess the reason already but still decided to ask for confirmation.

The increasing to strength ( STR ) and dexterity ( DEX ) is high now but it will depend on your training in future. )

' hmm.. Well its food thing that my overall potential has spiked. Now I can increase strenght much more quickly as long as I train hard. But my chakra control is sub par right now. It will be a waste if I dont have high chakra control because I wont be able to use my high chakra fully. Yosh.. its decided. I will focus more on increasing chakra control for now.'

" System is there something available in shop which can help increasing my chakra control quickly ? "

Sasuke was speechless at the high price.

" Foreget it. I can increase it by training.."

While his training plan were finished, Sasuke arrived at the Uchiha compound which now looked no different than a ghost town. The entrance was blocked by a few ninja and no sound could be heard from inside the huge compound..

Sasuke indifferently glanced at the ninja once before ignoring them and walking inside. No body stopped him because they naturally knew that he was the now only heir to Uchiha clan inside Konoha...
