Gu Nanzhou walked in, holding a glass of water.
Seeing the somewhat dazed girl sitting on the bed, his heart softened.
He handed her the cup and naturally reached out to smooth down the stray hairs on the top of Su Wan's head, softly saying, "Awake?"
Su Wan nodded, took the glass, and quietly said thank you.
Su Wan sipped the water with both hands and suddenly realized a problem.
Always speaking before thinking, as she pondered, she blurted out her thoughts.
"Gu Nanzhou," she blinked, "why are you at my house?"
The moment Su Wan finished speaking, she regretted it, belatedly remembering that it was Gu Nanzhou who had brought her home yesterday.
As expected, Gu Nanzhou shot her a glance, "Still not fully awake?"
Su Wan gave an embarrassed smile and continued drinking her water, her head lowered.
After she finished drinking, she handed the cup back to Gu Nanzhou and looked up, "I'm going to get up now."
