After the wedding, the two were ready to leave. With so many things to deal with back home in China, even if Ye Li had time, Ji Yanchen had to attend to company matters.
The day they returned to the country, early in the morning, before Ye Li had even woken up, she received an irate call from Mo Ze, "Ye Li, I've been dumped!"
Ye Li had not fully woken up. Hearing this, she leaned towards Ji Yanchen and was naturally pulled into his embrace. She snuggled closer and muttered unclearly, "It's not the first time."
"It's me who got dumped!" Mo Ze raised his voice a bit, which fully woke Ye Li up.
She rubbed her eyes, bleary-eyed, "Tian Weiwei?"
"Yeah!"
"Why worry when there are so many other fish in the sea? Isn't that what you always say?" Ye Li yawned, and Ji Yanchen looked at her, "Time to get up."
Ye Li nodded, shifted her body up a bit, and leaned against the bed, listening to the grievances on the other end of the line, "But she can't do this to me!"
