Emily Rose pushed her black hair back and looked up at the skyscraper in front of her. His neck ached as he tried to stare up at the Peak.

After twenty-three years, he finally succeeded in stepping on the city of New York.

The place is like its shadow. Big, bustling, modern and sparkling. Emily likes it. The place is alive and kicking. now the Empire State Building, Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge, time square, the Statue of Liberty, Manhattan Bridge and a million New York charms are no longer just watched on television or seen in magazine photos.

Emily didn't expect much. Life in New York is hard, the city may be beautiful and challenging but surviving here is not easy.

Emily had anticipated it. So he wasn't disappointed when he was able to rent a Studio flat in an old building, and after applying around, he only managed to get a job as an administrative intern in the general department.
